great neighborhood pizzeria! all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. had the spinach pizza and added chicken, we were very happy with our choice.

we were passing through town on the interstate when traffic was backed up for hours. we decided to find a local pizza place and pass the time that way. we arrived at the neighborhood pizzeria tivoli. it is a little place with an open kitchen, we were the only folks in the dinning room but folks were coming and going with take out orders. as we were looking at the menu, the chef came out to let us know he was looking forward to preparing something good for us. we ordered two pies and the melon and prosciutto. the appetizer of melon and prosciutto seemed too odd to pass up and i was not disappointed with the sweet and salty combo. our pizzas were out soon later and we were impressed with the thin, crispy, charred crust. the ingredients tasted so fresh and complimented the large shavings of parmesan. this find is a total win and i will be back next time i am passing through st.l.

fantastic margarita pizza! small,quaint restaurant. you can tell everything is handmade and they take pride in their food. nice wood fire oven!

was introduced to pizza tivoli a few weeks ago by my mother.  the food was excellent.  the caprese salad was one of the best that i have ever had, and the pizza was original, and top notch.  the service was excellent.  the ambience was pleasing except for loud cars and harley's every few minutes.  will definitely be back.

went there at 7:30 pm tonight & they were closed. disappointed that we drove 30 minutes tonight & they were closed by 7:30, don't know if we'll make a 2nd attempt. best of luck to you.

great pizza. great pizza, they have a gluten free option which is a plus. tuesday nights is buy one get one half off.

great food and big portions for a good price. we get the caesar and mezza luna app which was really good and not overwhelming with gorgonzola. pizza is really nice. great crust . spinach is my fave.

the pizza is great, salads are very good as well. they can only cook one pizza at a time, so if it gets busy it can be kind of a long wait. if you are a pizza fan it's worth the wait, i keep coming back!

not gluten free friendly!!!. after going swimming with the kids, we were going to go to pi, but decided to go here instead, i've been here before, had a decent gluten free pizza, since that's all i can eat with celiac disease, and its closer to home. i've been on a gut healing diet for about three months and decided to go off the diet for pizza, because i was tired of eating only ten things and needed one night of change, and i was starving! i asked the waitress before ordering if they had the gluten free crust, she confirmed they did. my husband's pizza came out about thirty minutes later, then the kid's pizza came out. about ten minutes later the server came out with a cheese pizza, saying the cook messed up and made a cheese pizza. she said they were making my pizza and it would be out in about five minutes. i'm watching everyone eat, and about twenty minutes later she comes out with my pizza on regular crust. i said , "this is not gluten free crust, this is regular crust." she said, "this is your pizza" and set it down. i explained again, that i ordered gluten free crust, not regular crust and this was obviously not gluten free crust. she went back and asked and came back out to the table and said, this is the only crust we have. i pointed out that there's gluten free crust o. the menu, i asked before ordering anything if they had the gluten free crust, and i ordered the gluten free crust. she looked at me like i was making a big deal out of nothing. i explained to her that i could not eat it, it would make me sick, and permanently injure my body. she finally removed it from the table and then acted like she was doing me a favor to remove it from the bill. it took another thirty minutes to get the bill and get out of there. it was a horrible experience, i'm never going back there, i wish we had just gone to pi.

i believe in second chances. our last interaction was not pleasant, but i do believe in second chances. we will be back and hope that everything goes well. best of luck to you!

poor service. i ordered both a salad and pizza - both which were excellent. our server was the female owner that gave off a vibe that she couldn't be bothered with us - including splitting a check for three people into two separate bills. the whole experience felt rushed and awkward. i'll head back down to onesto's next time!

horrible customer service. i recently purchased a living social coupon for pizzeria tivoli. my husband and i live in the neighborhood and we had ordered takeout from there before and really liked it. i called to place a takeout order with the coupon and was gruffly told it was for dine in only. i looked at the coupon in my hand (and had several others with me read it) and no where on it said dine in only. i said this very politely to the person on the phone and the immediate rude response was "i don't have time to argue with you. that is to get customers to come into the restaurant." a few more rude comments from him followed. if i could convey the annoyed, gruff tone of the person on the other end of the phone i would. apparently retaining customers is of no concern to this place. i will not be returning.

if you're looking for italy, this is as close as you will get. pizzeria tivoli? doesn't sound too ingenious and it's off the beaten path. but maybe that's what they're after; let the common south sider pass by this place and let those of us who really appreciate european casual dining enjoy this gem.

the pizza is exactly what you find in italy: flavorful, thin crust that is just the right consistency so i can use a knife and fork. the margherita is my favorite.

the caesar salad is great with shaved parmesan cheese, like they do in restaurants in italy and you can taste just the right amount of anchovy.

some people may not like the blonde server (perhaps related to the owner), but she adds some flavour to the place!

i highly recommend this place, it's total quality over quantity.

thank you southside foodie. i have had the exact same experience at this place. there is something about the owners that is just "off" - and i saw some troubling things here. their pizza is inconsistent and based on positive reviews if tivoli the people that like it do so because it is close to their home. if that is your only standard well then i guess tivoli will do!
