first time to manchester and we were looking for somewhere close to city apartments, church street to eat. came across thisplaceand so pleased we weren't put off by a few couples infront of us waiting to be seated. we were given a table very quickly by the friendly, super efficient staff.
we shared the pigs in blankets to start with and ordered 2 different pies to halve and share. absolutely delicious. thin, crispy pastry with plenty of filling and gravy to accompany them.
great value for money. the whole lot plus a bottle of wine was £37.
