thefoodwas absolutely delightful - especially the banh mi, vietnamese curry rice, and salads. also there was beer on tap and a pleasant ambience.

a restaurant with good ambience and good food. portion size is good as well. i had a banh mi, summer roll, mekong momos (all veg) and all 3 dishes were good. a place to come back for goodfoodand service.

food is amazing! ambiance is amazing.. this place is always full. you need to wait on weekends.. they also have waiting area. thefoodis delicious.. but they need to improvefoodportion as comparatively its less. the service is really quick and attractive. the washrooms are clean. no dedicated parking area..

i had been waiting to visit this place for some time and finally did get an opportunity to do so. the ambience and decor is nice. it gets pretty crowded over the weekends however it's on a first come first serve concept as they don't take reservations. we were seated soon enough. we however had to wait for quite sometime to get someone's attention to take our order and ofcourse had to ask several times for drinking water to be served. i was not at all impressed with the service for a place that falls under a fine dining category. anyway having said that, thefoodwas on point. we ordered the shrimp summer rolls, beef pho, some noodles and shrimp and a strawberry smoothie for my daughter. the summer rolls were fresh, very clean flavours and the dipping sauce is just awesome with pieces of dried shrimp in it! i just loved it!. the pho is probably the best you will get in bangalore. i have had pho where the beef melts in your mouth although this was not exactly like that however it was close enough and i enjoyed every morsel of it! if you are looking for great pho then phobidden fruit is definitely the place u need to be. highly recommend this place for some great food. did not take pics as we were too hungry by the time thefoodgot to our table. i would have given a 5 star rating save for the tardy and inattentive service we received. thefoodmore than makes up for the morbid service though 😊

i've been going here since the last 7 and a half years and they never disappoint! excellent food, the best vietnamesefoodin bangalore (possibly the country) and an ever so courteous owner who pays personal attention to diners. i would keep coming here for the rest of my life! you won't notice the drastic changes that happen behind the scenes but i have seen that they have delivered against all odds! kudos!

special shout-out to the mung bean pudding, it was delicious.

went on a weekday and there were lot of unoccupied seats and service was very prompt.
the last order is taken by 3.15 for lunch service so plan accordingly.
coming to thefooditself, tried the lettuce wrapped chicken, another chicken starter as recommended by the host and also chicken pho.
all of them were lip smacking delicious.
the pho was light on flavour and quite warming.
for drinks we had the vietnamese coffee and it was the best on a warm afternoon! will definitely come back for more.😍

they are charging exorbitant rate for water bottle,for a bottle of 20 bucks they charged 75!foodquality has also degraded. never going to visit again,highly disappointed

great place for vietnamese food. while there is an indian twist to the dishes (considering the spice level), the menu is quite elaborate and offers a true vietnamese experience. i was personally surprised to see banh xeo on the menu. we had the seafood pho, mekong momos, red river riot, vietnamese chicken curry, smoky noodles and spicy prawn fried rice (i know! we have quite the appetite). we ended with a wobbly lemongrass pudding, which was my least favourite dish that day. but overall lovelyfoodand lovely seating area :) would totally recommend this place.

quaint romantic n cozy place in midst of indiranagar. amazing taste , presentation and decent portions. if you are fond of vietnamesefoodor adventurous to try it - must visit the place. great variety in menu - desserts section is amazing too. i plan to come back till i try out everything . almost forgot to mention- clean washrooms equipped not just with hand wash but hand lotion too !!

think vietnamese cuisine in bangalore ...think phobbiden fruit !! many pan asian restaurants cluster in around indiranagar but this place has managed hold onto it unique quality and usp for years now. i'm personally in love with quaint and subtle ambience they have ...just perfect for fine dining !! talking about thefood...it's stays true to promise of serving authentic vietnamese and pan asian dishes. the satays, baos, curries , noodles ....i have never tasted a dish in this place whic falls short of anything but excellence !!

the best for vietnamese food. they have a wide variety of starters and one could fill their stomach with delicious gamut of starters because the portions offoodare big.
i'd like to see more options in the main course though, especially in veg.
the ambience is peaceful and calm. the staff is well trained and helpful. if you are not sure of what to order, the knowledgeable staff there will help you make a good choice.
overall, a gem of a place in the heart of indiranagar with a peaceful environment.

you would just walk by this place if you aren't paying attention. it's a lovely place, just the right amount of decor to make it feel very warm and welcoming. the place had absolutely amazing food, especially the fritters. would definitely recommend that dish for a starter. anyone who loves asianfoodshould give the pho a try as well.

the prices are on the higher side but its because of the quality offoodthey serve so i feel its worth it. the staff is very friendly and all in all, a place i'd recommend any day.
