great pho broth.  better than all other pho places within a 10 mile radius.  get the special pho (has everything in it), and a side of the chicken wings.  you will be happy.

get your yum on at pho thi. great pho, their broth is amazing! best for miles around! super friendly service! the owners/family are usually around, and providing some of the best vietnamese food and customer service in the pdx area, and i've tried many on the east pdx side, hard to match pho thi! this place is a gem

amazing. i'm very picky about the quality and taste of pho and i love the pho, at pho thi. the pho has great flavor and the meat is perfectly trimmed.

mayor loves it. i visit pho thi at least once a week -- enough to become the foursquare mayor of the place. i've tried about half of what they have on the menu, and haven't yet found something i didn't like. like another reviewer, when i first tasted the pho, something seemed to be missing. it's more subtle, which it turns out makes it better. egg rolls and salad rolls are awesome. the family that owns the restaurant is friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions and substitutions.

weekly. my husband opened a law practice on main st. in april. we were very pleased to see pho thi open soon after.
we dine-in or order out 1-3 times a week. as a matter of fact, we are ordering take out tonight for dinner.
we love it and the people/staff/owners are super nice!

echo, echo.... i think i'm going to generally reflect the sentiments of the previous reviewer so there's probably not much new here.

went to pho thi last night from a search on urbanspoon. i too had been going to pho huy over on 82nd but honestly, wasn't too impressed.

at pho thi, my friend had the chicken bun, i went with the standard chicken pho, and we split an order of salad rolls. i tasted the chicken in the bun, flavor was good and not over seasoned. same with my pho - while the first impression was that it was missing something, my stomach warmed to the experience and both of us went home with smiles on our faces and full stomachs.

prices are fair, ambiance is good, this restaurant is a welcome addition to the oregon city area. i'll be back!

pho thi comes to oregon city -- hooray!. i was very excited when i saw the "grand opening" sign for pho thi in downtown oregon city. even though i'm concerned that our historic little town is becoming a little bit west linn-ified (places like "the verdict" make me all nervous-like) it's great that we're at least getting some diversity in the mix.

up to now, whenever i had a craving for pho i had to trek out to pho huy out by winco on 82nd. a bit of a drive just for some noodles and broth! but when you need a bowl of pho, you'll drive any distance.

i'm happy to say that pho thi more than measured up to to my expectations. their prices are quite good and they have a very diverse menu including an extensive selection of thai dishes.

on a recent trip, my husband had the mussuman curry, which was really, really good. i kept sneaking bites of it. my daughter had the pho ga, which was reasonably good, though i found the broth a bit weak. it might have perked up with a little soy sauce and chili oil, but one spoonful was all i got -- once my daughter gets ahold of a bowl of pho, she dumps plum sauce into it until there's no way to judge anything other than the flavor of the plum sauce. so i'll have to go back sometime and judge it on more than one sip of broth.

as for me, i had the pho bo with round steak, which was excellent--the broth was strong and delicious, with that kind of anise-y fragrance that i love. delicious.

we also had appetizers -- egg rolls and fried shrimp. they were fine. nothing to write home about. we would have tried the salad rolls, but there were 3 of us and the appetizer only came with 2 salad rolls and we didn't feel like doing the math. egg rolls came 3 to a plate, which made everything much simpler.

the ambiance of the restaurant is clean and tidy. the service was just ok; i could have used more attention to my water glass, but then again, i drink a lot of water.

overall, i'd say this is a good, solid pho restaurant. the food is as good as any, and the prices are better than most. i look forward to returning here often. it's a very welcome addition to downtown oregon city!
