the best pho i have ever had in south qld. dont go there if you are after high dining and waiters who speak english. clean enough.... it's a simple get up, eat, dine and leave.

best pho in bris imho. yum, always a winner. love the rare beef!
in typical vietnamese restaurant fashion, the service is not exactly warm, but if you are charging me only $8 for a consistently delicious, satisfying meal you can scowl at me all you like!
best pho in brisbane, without a doubt.... i want pho now

oh man i love this place. reminds me of the stuff my mum use to make. no. 10 sml chicken pho is my fav (more than enough for me), plenty of meat, perfect soup base. highly recommend anyone wanting a filling but cheap meal to come get it here. my husband can down a large bowl but he'd be at exploding capacity each time. spring rolls wrapped in lettuce also a winner. great and friendly owner and waiters.

ordered special beef pho for lunch. the bowl that arrived was huge, hot and steaming, filled with noodles, meat and tripe and msg laden soup. just the hit i needed as i wasn't feeling too flash. overall i rate it a 3.5.
in summary, good prices for large portions and a great location in market square. the food is good too.  i really enjoy their bun (vermicelli) salads in warmer weather, but their other dishes are good too.
a pretty good vietnamese food place which has been around for a while.

long-time customer of this sunnybank pho establishment, however first review.
we arrived just before the lunch-time surge, of which queues of people were already starting to line up.

we ordered the spring rolls to-share, as well as individual medium-sized bowls of pho tai (rare beef), pho dac biet (combination), and bun bo hue (spicy beef).
the spring rolls were crispy and delicious. they came with lettuce to wrap them in (and to protect sensitive fingers from the heat) and accompanying fish sauce dip.
the pho was steaming, flavourful (albeit with my familiar lingering sweet and saltiness), with fresh noodles and slices of fresh meat.
the bun was perfect for a cool day - generous slices of pork and beef, and the broth had a good heat to it. the extra satay sauce is also a family favourite at pasteur's.

relatively inexpensive. casual ambience. reasonable service - yes, there were hiccups with our order (the owner came out to verify our dishes), however the missed dish came out less than five minutes later.

overall, a solid vietnamese restaurant and sunnybank institution for no-fuss, comforting pho and other noodle soups.

by far my favorite restaurant in market square. i go there at least once a week with my girlfriend. their special beef is the best! i love that you get to chose your own sized dish (s, m or l). their spring rolls are delicious too. cheap & authentic vietnamese restaurant! definitely have to try it out.

cheap and delicious!. this is one of my regular go-to-spots for dinner!
it's a very basic restaurant, but the complimentary tea on every table, cheap prices, and generous sized meals make it one of my favourites.
the clear rice noodle soups and vermicelli noodle salads are fantastic!

such large portions and super good value for money. the soup is delicious and the thinly sliced beef is tender. nothing much i don’t like about this shop except theres always a queue waiting.. but the waits never too long. would recommend to friends for a casual meal!

seriously, if i had unlimited access to pho, i'd be slurping on the noodle soup all da. i'd also probably be 300 kilos and possible die from obesity related disease. the point is that there is heaps of different noodles soups from seafood, clear rice noodle soup with bbq pork, the original beef pho, vermicelli salad to choose from. i've tried most things on the menu and it's all

asked for more chilli as i only got one small serving for two medium size bowls, the owner said to me chillis expensive so i can’t have any more and told me to use sauce, asked for coriander as its a personal preference to basil and she said she doesn’t have any but they sell dishes with coriander in there. extremely rude could not enjoy my meal ruined my mood didn’t even feel like eating afterwards. why would i come here to have pho if i can’t have it spicy? and also they don’t have spicy chillis they use the big red ones so theres no effect at all. definitely not a traditional style vietnamese restaurant. will never come back and tell my friends not to come back here either.

have not been back early one year so checked it out for a sunday lunch. upon arrival, there was a short queue outside the eatery waiting for table; however, it did not take long to have a table for us.
after perused the menu, we ordered two small size of bo dac biet and bun bo hui with extra six spring rolls.
love the menu here that we could ordered small size for the pho so our stomachs could accommodate extra food items.
both noodle soups reflected its characteristic taste although the noodle of the bun bo hui was slightly over-cooked (it should due to the pre-cooked noodles waiting for orders so chef could speed up the production time for the bun bo hui).
hero should be the spring rolls, the beautiful thing was the accompanied lettuce with fish sauce dips. vegetable was very fresh. it was a very refreshing feeling to have the lettuce, crispy spring rolls and the sauce mixed together.
an impressive lunch😋
