visited this place on post diwali new year's eve. we had to wait for about 1:15 hours to get a place for 4 people, so it was that crowded. however after getting the place the service seemed to be a bit poor and slow. i would have given them a benefit of doubt considering the festival season, alas it was my husband's second such experience with them. food was fairly decent one. out of hot and sour and munchow soups, latter one was a clear winner and a must try. in curries we tried veg mushroom and veg angara. however mushroom one was high on tomato gravy and thetasteof mushroom was lost. veg angara was decent but there wasnt any smokiness in the curry as the name angara suggested. we also tried their schezwan fried rice which was full of garlic and ginger, better then expected.
my overall rating to this place out of 5 would be following :
ambiance : 2.5/5
food : 3.5/5
service : 2/5
cost : 3/5 (with soup, starters, main course it costed us somewhere about 1300/-)
it would be great if they could manage the crowd well and improve a bit of their service quality. surprisingly one of the staff members was sitting right next to our table having dinner (may be their time to leave, at about 10:45 pm), however they should refrain from eating in front of customers who are still waiting for their order to arrive.
