customer service was fantastic. ordered 10 oysters. followed with arincini balls which were fantastic. oysters were a bit off because they did not taste right. we sent them bsck.
pasta mains were incredible but not great value for money after having average oysters. they should befreshwhen you spend a few hundred on a meal.

we went here for friday lunch and had a great time. the food was excellent and you could tell the produce wasfreshand of high quality. we shared some antipasti for entrees which included calamari with fennel salad (exceptionallyfreshand delicious) polpette (meatballs in tomato sauce), baked mushrooms, burrata and arancini. i had the porchetta for main which was delicious. my dining partners has the ragu pasta, eye fillet and squid ink gnocchi. everyone enjoyed their meals. the service was very professional and attentive but not intrusive. a nice place to have a special lunch!

best fine dining experience i have ever had in brisbane. firstly, the staff here are fantastic. great knowledge of the wine list, menu and all extremely attentive. the restaurant itself is exquisite, looking over southbank. we started our night off with the fried squid to share, 10/10. we didn't want to feel full before our mains! i ordered the seafood risotto...oh my god. this risotto was next level it was incredible.freshseafood and lots of it, this has to be one of the best meals i have eaten. the rest of my table ordered the market fish (swordfish), lamb cotolette and the porchetta. all dishes were faultless, my whole table left extremely happy. however, 2/4 of my dining party were gluten intolerant so it would have been nice to see a gf pizza base or gf pasta. would have loved to have gotten dessert but none were gluten free :(

3-4 stars. i'll start with the positive and then go through negatives. great burrata starter, one of the best i've ever had, just needs to come with bread. rabbit ragu rigatone was flavourful but heavy on the butter and i got a few bones which really ruins the experience, especially in high end restaurant. tuna crudo left a bit to be desired, it had a metallic aftertaste with the tuna and negroni syrup and pickled cucumbers and orange. i thought it was a risk when i ordered it and yes it was all too acidic and harsh to leave any respect for thefreshtuna. could do better.

exquisite hospitality and service. hervey bay scallopsfreshtasmanian oysters and granita wonderful with pepper; spatchcock superb market fish as good as expected from gambaro; pork spare ribs lean and delicious; beautiful sides plenty of greens service a standout strawberry dessert a standout. slightly noisy on the verandah but inside is cosseted and quiet

persone is definitely one of the best restaurants i’ve visited in brisbane. we went there for dinner on saturday night and the food was fantastic. i had the lamb ravioli with sage butter sauce, thefreshpasta was perfectly cooked and the lamb tender and full of flavour. then for dessert i ordered the poached strawberries w lemon granita and mascarpone which was very nice. others that i was with ordered the spaghetti, pork and beef ragu, pesto gnocchi. we all really enjoyed our meals. the restaurant has great position with a view of the brisbane river and city.
