i hoped it would be good... it wasn't. i took my family to pkob for dinner, hoping that i had found a place to eat for years to come (first visit, as i just moved to the area). i was drawn by the location of the restaurant, which offers a great view. we ordered a broad variety of dishes, ranging from fried or broiled, to grilled and sauced. not a single one of the entrées was hot, with only one or two barely warm. the sides were also either lukewarm or cool, with the exception of the green beans. the green beans were good, as was the coleslaw (okay, this was cold, as it should be). i'm certain it is not too much to ask for fresh food to either be hot, or at least reasonably warm--if it is indeed fresh. i mean, you have to cook this if it's fresh, so it would be hot when finished cooking, right? the service was also quite poor, with the server being mia for most of the evening. very nice and pleasant personality, just not present and accounted for. perhaps the food would have been better, or hotter, if the service was reasonably good. unfortunately, i'll never know, as i won't go back. that's a shame, as i am loyal to places that go the extra mile, or at least consistently are pretty good. if the owner writes a mea culpa i might try again, as it would at least show that they listen and care. otherwise, i guess i'll keep searching for a goodseafoodrestaurant to frequently patronize.
