undecided. my husband and i went on a saturday evening. we were seated quickly, and found the atmosphere very pleasant: well-lit, not too noisy, plenty of outdoor seating though we opted to stay indoors. the dinner crowd overall was decidedly older: just an f.y.i. for the rowdy, young types.
the menu overall looked well-balanced, with lots of fried or healthier options, depending on your persuasion. our server was attentive, but painfully task-oriented. she winced out a smile at the end of the evening, but it seemed like she was interested in turning over her tables as quickly as possible- and not so much making us feel welcome.
my husband ordered oysters rockefeller, though he really wanted steamed oysters. they said they were out of steamed oysters however...
i ordered an asian shrimp salad, which was pretty lackluster. literally, it was a giant bed of iceberg lettuce with (plenty of ) popcorn shrimp, some fried noodles, and about 8 tiny chunks of mango. oh- and dressing. sure, the serving size was generous, but it was so uncreative i couldn't care to eat more than 1/3 of it.
they do bring you bread before your meal, which is always a nice bonus. my husband and i are still undecided, since we think it would be worth a second visit for some more classic steamed seafood selections. i just felt like the salad was a waste of money.
