chose to eat here with a group of 10 for my 50th birthday recently. had never been here before but wonder now why it has taken me so long to dine here. it was just the best night, the staff were helpful, courteous and nothing was too much trouble. they let us bring our own birthday cake in and provided plates and forks to eat it from without any cost whatsoever. the food was delicious, fresh and tasty, my favourite entree the deep friedscallopsas the batter was so light and not hard and dry and this allowed the flavour of thescallopsto come through. the ribs are also excellent as well as the lemon chicken, chop sueys, bean curd, cutlets, chicken dishes.... everything we had was just a1. thanks for helping to make my birthday one of the best i have had peking house.
