absolutely lovely lunch! had the $40 lunch. salmon for entree was devine, and the duck breast for main. cooked to perfection! the staff were extremely helpful and attentive! will definitely be back again!

ambience, atmosphere, location and service were excellent. food could have been more seasoned, but very well conceptualised and the flavours in all the meals worked well togehter. favourite was the veal as the main. asparagus spears sharpened in a pencil sharpener were a nice touch.

good views, atmosphere and attentive service. the mains were slightly disappointing compared to the entree. uq students get 15% off, which is a pretty good deal.

customs house is a great place to dine in brisbane. the food is great and the wine list is pretty good too. best of all, you can dine outside and showcase out great city whilst enjoying a quality meal.

absolutely delightful. we dined on mother's day or breakfast. service was quick however relaxed. started with fresh yoghurt and berries as
part of a set menu for mother's day. followed by beautiful pastries. my mother loved every minute of her pancakes she ordered and i had the eggs and mushrooms which was also nice.restaurant is slightly hard to find however we will be back hopefully for dinner next time.

there's not really any other place quite like customs house, we have been here for events, christmas parties, and smaller things like valentines day and mothers day. everything has been very well executed each time, food, drinks & service - but the real plus is the historic venue itself with the river view. definitely recommend.

a firm favourite - great location, great views, great food and excellent service. we've been to customs house many times and it is always a wonderful experience.

dinner at customs house was a lovely experience with the views and ambiance matched by the tremendous service , entree we had the seared scollop and the duck buns which were delightful, for main i had the seafood platter which at $55 consisted of 4 oysters , 4 prawns a more ton bay bug and a small serve of tuna , whilst it was delicious i would say it is overpriced and the sauces were a bit of a letdown, the others had the gnocchi and the eye fillet, no complaints there
all round a great night and the views over the river to the story bridge and hsw make it a special evening

had lunch there today. there’s a lunch special menu that we couldn’t go past - outstanding value at $40 for two courses and $55 for three.

i started with the spiced calamari with grilled cabbage, then i had the grilled pork loin, and i finished with the crème brûlée’. every course looked attractive and was totally satisfying and delicious.

the wine list is on the expensive side but worth every dollar. the waitperson was the perfect blend of charm, friendliness and a perfect judge of attentiveness.

it was my first visit, but i’ll certainly go back.

i always though of the customs house restaurant as an overpriced, touristy, entertainment venue. when i read they had relabeled it to patina, we just had to take a look. i booked it for my wife's birthday.

upon arrival, the venue is impressive. the table wasn't ready yet, so we were offered a drink in the lounge while waiting.

we had a table on the river as i requested. better views of our lovely bridge is impossible.

the food choice is good. unfortunately, they ran out of the home grown mushrooms on the night, which are actually grown underneath customs house. nothing to complain about, almost spectacular. a bit too "clean", which is hard to describe.

all in all a special place to take a special person.

this restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel (treasury brisbane) front desk lady and it was totally brilliant. the food was divine, the waiting staff courteous and the view absolutely to die for especially as i was dining on my own. my recommendation would be the octopus for entree, veal for main accompanied by a glass of red (shiraz). i wish i had room for dessert but had to forego given i was strapped for time. compliments to the waiting staff and chef who made my experience exceptional

this restaurant was recommended by the hotel i was staying at and it was brilliant. the food was divine, the waiting staff courteous and lovely and the view to die for especially as i was dining on my own. my recommendation is the octopus for entree and veal for main accompanyed by a lovely glass of red (shiraz). heads up to the waiting staff and chef!

had a group booking for high tea and due to allergies, i emailed a week prior to see what i could/couldn’t eat. a few days to get a reply with their menu attached stating i’m best to order off the main menu, not the high tea as there would be “options” for me. when i asked what “options” there were, there was no response. fast forward to the actual “event” and their main menu is extremely limited and had one option for me. a tiny beef cheek about the size of my thumb for $23. the others had their high tea and, sandwiches were apparently the best thing about them; the cakes apparently look better than they taste and they didn’t bring out any milk with the tea. for a place whose menu states they’re “uq’s premium downtown restaurant”, i was disappointed with their service and their food. won’t be returning.
