drinks yes!. a few of us went for drinks. sure they're a bit pricey, but who isn't. we had a variety of featured drinks as well as some of our own requests. they were all good. nothing watered down and not too small or anything. really fun atmosphere. would go there again.

good enough. good location, excellent patio and very friendly staff but unless you enjoy kool-aid with rum, hurricanes are a vastly overrated drink.

new orleans trio. i really have no complaints. the husband and i just returned from a trip to nola and had dinner here. we went on a saturday around 830ish and didn't have to wait to be seated. our server greeted us quickly even though the place was pretty packed. hurricane of course was great, tried the catfish as an appetizer and they were fabulous. the new orleans trio with red beans, etoufee and gumbo= gumbo was seasoned very well although it did taste a little different- not bad at all, just different that i'm used to being born and raised in lafayette. the etoufee was not my favorite and the red beans were delish, add some sausage to it and it would be surperb! great place! i'd give it an 8/10

keep the glass. i ordered a bloody mary, a hurricane and crawfish etouffee for lunch (which my brother suggested). the service is a little slow and not very friendly. they're not mean but i was expecting a little more professionalism.

the crawfish etouffee was pretty good and tasty. it was a little soupy in texture but the flavor was good. the hurricane was really strong compared to the others i got throughout the city. i kept the glass and it makes for a nice souvenir. it's a pretty good place to stop by but keep your expectations in check.

parti gras here!. if you are feeling a bit claustrophic on the streets during mardi gras, stop in here for their famous hurricane drink and sing some songs with the piano player. this bar has a pete's dueling piano bar type feel, but it totes trumps pete's. pat o'brien's is the ultimate.

despite being a tourist trap.... it's really not a tourist trap and it's really not that expensive...
i think the food prices are made so that anyone can go here.

the place is nice but food wasn't that great. novelty of the restaurant was great but probably not going back. but its burbon street so overall it was cool

nice atmosphere for drinks. but please, do not order food here. $15 for vodka pasta? that stuff was awful--flavorless and watery. i've had much better out of a can. the gator bites were alright, but those are hard to eff up. and they didn't even bother making their own dip for them, just honey mustard out of a bottle. lazy. and our waiter, while friendly, was absurdly spaced out. everything was terrible except the drinks and the atmosphere.

not just a tourist place.... although you will find plenty of tourists. we locals still enjoy it, too, for the great courtyard. also, the drinks here are a much better value if you are drinking in the quarter. one hurricane here will equal 2 or 3 tiny cocktails elsewhere!

drinks are way over hyped. yes, pat o'brien's is a really cool bar, the best outdoor drinking outside of vegas. but the drinks are just sugar and low grade alcohol. thier french 75 is aweful. the hurricane is good, but really sweet. it is all chick drinks. serivce is super fast, but at the end of hte day, their drinks still suck.

this is fun. you just can't say you've done new orleans until you've done the duelling pianos sing-along.
