i've always lived stopping at parrot key when visiting fort myers. notice the past tense. yes it's a little hokey and touristy, but the atmosphere is great and i've never had a bad meal. i went there after a meal for a quick drink to make sure my trip was complete. when we sat down the bartender was so irritated. we were the only ones at the bar but the restaurant was still full. she was so completely rude and went on and on about how it was a long day and she was hungry and hasnt hadtimeto pee. really? i don't care. i wont be going out of my way to go there again.

firsttimedining. great ambiance sitting on the outdoor deck surrounded by the marina and all the boats. drinks tonight…key lime colada both excellent! dinner tonight was coconut shrimp basket and the seafood sampler which was grouper, scallops, & shrimp. all very good.

i went here two years ago and it was amazing. however, thistimewhen i went it was overpriced with food that didn't compare to the my first experience. the pasta i got thistimewas still $25, but i got about half the portion i had before. my boyfriend got crab cakes that tasted like they had no crab in them. my key west cooler alcoholic drink was water with a little bit of flavor. this was definitely a bad experience that i had high hopes for because of my previous experience.
