so a few days back while stalking people “yes i do that, and you too” so let’s be open about that “we all stalk”, stalking is good, healthy stalking is what i’m talking about. where you just stalk a person back to 1989 . ending up on a picture of their grandma’s 60th anniversary in the backyard. aaand while doing that, i came across this place called “ paperfig” . looking at the pictures, made me write that place in my list, so today after lots of work, i thought of treating myself with mouthwatering french toasts on my way back home. they serve their ice cream with chocolate, marshmallows, vanilla sticks ( i guess that’s what it was ) and chocolate &mint flavored brownies. all of this was brought into small tubes, remember which we use to have in our school labs for experiments? yeah those tubes. fyi earlier that day as i mentioned before, i had a headache but my body gave in to my sweet tooth.
this place is located near university city ( sharjah), on my way million memories flashed back. i was at this place for like 3 years, my university was there nearby and i’ve had a great time while studying there. anyways, after searching it for like 20 mins i found this hidden gem, it’s a small shop under sama building , i came to know after asking the grocery guy , though i’m really good with locations hahaha . its good to praise yourself sometimes xd. finally reached there by 9. 15, and it closes by 10pm “that bad part”.
i was so happy after the entire search-hunt i reached there before the closing time. there were a few people sitting there already and i have this thing of quickly examining the entire place as soon as i step in anywhere.
the waiter comes on our table and i knew what i wanted even before he placed the menu. i ordered in a single breath like i had been memorizing on my way here “ a french toast, date pudding, and mad love please!” (that’s the ice-cream) , while doing all this it was already 9.30, he got our order in like next 5 to 7 minutes. the french toast was unbelievably soft, fresh strawberries and there was coconut milk in a small pouch and homemade vanilla ice cream. god! we finished it within seconds,
h did i forget the maple syrup?! that too was there. the homemade ice cream was da-licious! but after having these two dishes we were already feeling full, as we were heading for a late night dinner. i was secretly hoping that they don’t bring date pudding and can you believe it! the waiter actually forgot that since they’ve been so busy cleaning ha-ha, wishes do come true . oh and btw they have parking for their customers, that happens to be the icing on the cake.
