pao food truck

best food we had at big guava. and there were some great other food trucks there. but pao's tocsilog i could eat every day.

terrible service, bad food. big disappointment given all of the hype. :0( wasted over $20 for lunch

good stuff.... if you dig asian/filipino food this is a great place. i enjoyed the lumpia and the sisig. worth a shot if the truck is in the neighborhood...

the pao burger was omg a revelation. first of all, the patty itself was sooooo good. juicy and tasty and just a really, really good burger. but the thing that took this burger to the next level was the bun. it’s basically the same dough they make steamed pork buns with but they fry it on the griddle. it’s like the best blini you ever had on a massive scale. my mouth is watering thinking about it.

every year i get super psyched for the annual philfest because it is one of the few chances i get to enjoy tasty filpino food all year. there are practically no filipino restaurants in tampa bay. my orlando food blog friend,  droolius , is always uploading photos of tasty filpino eats and makes my inner pacquiáo want to hunt for filpino food. thanks to a new food truck called pao truck, that is about to change. i first heard about pao truck in tbo when they were added to the mayor’s food truck fiestas. i immediately gave them a facebook “like” and when i read they were on aemberly drive, literally 2 minutes from my house – i had to go and give them a shot. i explained how i found the truck to an employee at the truck and he was very helpful in helping explain the menu to me and took care of me quickly. the food was also ready quickly. there were plenty of great things on the menu. i liked that the truck had photos of the food on it. more people should do this. i decided to order the lo
