the best!. food is delicious and waitstaff always friendly at pambiche. it can get very crowded on weekend evenings (and other times), which is fun or annoying depending on your mood. go for an early lunch or late lunch/early dinner to avoid the crowds. don't skip dessert!

the last time jenkins and i went to portland, lucy recommended that we check out pambiche for some delicious cuban food. it was the first time we’d ever had cuban food and our visit to pambiche was definitely the food highlight of our last trip. not that

omg. one of the best happy hours around. for dessert, be sure to try the cuban cigar. awesome rolled chocolate truffle with strawberry sauce. i put the extra whipped cream with chocolate shavings in my cuban coffee.

fishy smell and taste. friendly. fast. fun. the beans are great and cheap. the empanadas are great. but, the fish sandwich was terrible, tasted like the fish they use had been set out for a few days to cure. it has an intolerable fishy taste. clearly, not fresh, or even kept frozen prior to preparation.

this place is amazing. not only for its color and ambiance, but the food is out of this world. i really hate waiting for a table and i have literally waited almost two hours for a seat, but its so worth it. my favorite dish is ropa viejas which is citrus marinated beef. every time i have company or a new friend wants to try a place i send them here.

pretty good cuban food and sorta upscale.  gluten-free is listed o various options on the menu which makes choosing gf easy.  like other restaurants in portland it is expensive.  this is not "authentic" cuban but it was a good spin on many cuban dishes.  the only complaint is that everything was a little sweet.  the mojo sauce had sugar in it, the rice was a little sweet.  i'm not a huge sugar fan so it was not preferred.  still, nice place with good food.

pambiche is the best cuban food in portland! the restaurant is fun to eat indoors or out, no matter what season it is. you can basically close your eyes and point to a random spot in the menu, and you will end up with a meal that will make you giddy wth food delight. their sangria and desserts are incredible. this place never gets old, and their service is always fantastic!

this place is hard to miss with its brightly colored painted building. there is usually a short line here at dinner, but breakfast and lunch there isn't. they have the best happy hour prices i have seen! love their beet and avocado salads.

have heard wonderful things about the food and drinks here for a few years now. we finally had the opportunity to check it out. it is a small intimate place and it fills up fast. make sure to put your name and number of people in your party on the list. they have outdoor heaters. prices are reasonable, portions are perfect, great flavors. the wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable!

if you were looking for cuban food in vancouver, you’d be sorely out of luck. while we were in portland, we managed to visit pambiche in the kerns area of ne portland and were quite impressed by the cuisine. located in a turn-of-the-century victorian building known as the apambichao building, a large mural adorns the outside of the building and is as much artwork as it is an exemplification of cuban culture.

the atmosphere is vibrant! i love the bright colors, fun art work adorning the walls and the cuban cuisine. brunch was as tasty as their dinner options. the cafe con leche was a wonderful coffee option and my "cubanito", a rum-based bloody mary was really smooth. the "picadillo cua cua" (cuban eggs and hash) was laced with green olives and served with rice, plantains and avocado. the "revoltillo de chorizo" a cuban scramble with potatoes and sausage was served with a garlic toast. both breakfast options were great. the server was friendly and i am excited to return and try other brunch option.

i really like this place. the moment you step under their venue you got the music going, the aroma of cuban food and in general a very fun atmosphere. i ordered the pollo criollo (don't quote me on that) and i loved it. i was able to sit outside because of the heaters they have over the tables! so awesome. will come back for happy hour. menus differ between lunch and dinner. ps they have great happy hour

delicious and flavorful cuban food, friendly staff, generous portions and lively ambiance. we came on a sunday night and it was packed! street parking wasn't too difficult to find. all the platters we ordered were rich in taste and melted right in your mouth. i highly recommend the plato cubano!
