yummmm!. we eat there all the time and just love the food. the sandwiches are all fantastic. try the meatloaf! pastries are top notch and taste as good as they look (not always the same case at others). don't get me started on the cakes... just try one and you'll soon know where to recommend your next bride or groom.

if you want to celebrate a special birthday for your daughter or son. especially a very *special special* birthday please don't come here. lack of attention to details was quite remarkable. we ordered a custom elmo cake and their response was we have a plain cake for you on my daughter's two year birthday celebration. 

their excuse: 

1) "the person that took your order was new"; 
2) "how much did they charge you? that is not enough according to the order that i have here for you"; 
3) "all i can do is apologize"; 
4) "we are extremely busy and don't have time to deal with your order; and the most impressive one"
5) "maybe this decal will do"? 

with that said: i'd recommend to not order anything from palo alto baking company. very disappointed by their service and you will likely regret it.
