we all have one thing that we can never say no to, and for me it is pistachio gelato. my love of pistachios began when i was about 5 years old and i was out grocery shopping with my grandpa. he purchased a bag of pistachios and i was fascinated with how he would pop open each little shell and take out the prized pistachio. for me, it was a fun way to enjoy such a delicious little treat. that was the day i fell in love with pistachios. i enjoy pistachios in many ways but my absolute favorite is pistachio gelato. on my first trip to italy back in 1999, i found a gelateria in the piazza navona in rome that made an incredible pistachio gelato. i stopped by every day during my trip and the flavor has been forever etched in my brain. while i have had many delicious versions of this mouth-watering flavor, nothing can compare to what i experienced at paciugo gelato & caffè in st. petersburg last week. located on the dazzling beach drive, paciugo is a major attraction for visitors and locals. i

not enough hours in the day for flavors. all i can say is i can't stop thinking about the carmel sea salt flavor among other amazing flavors!

a great little spot near the harbour in st petersburg. they have a ton of flavours of freshly made gelato served up by friendly staff. you can even try a mix of flavours. highly recommend!

i seriously love this place and everyone i take there loves it as well!! i've been numerous times and i've never had a bad experience! it's a great place to check out with the family; extremely kid friendly!

seriously delicious sorbet and gelato and they'll let you sample a few since the selection is gigantic. the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality which means you get a frozen treat of the highest quality. mixing one or two flavors with some fresh espresso is a delicious way to go fi you visit early in the day!

this place is the real deal. for those of you who have been searching for something that tastes like what you had on your european vacation... you must run, not walk, to paciugo. tons of flavors, reasonably priced, and absolutely delish! and they don't glare when you ask to try half the flavours ;]

the pannacotta flavor was my absolute favorite. the sea salt caramel was good as well. however the tiramisu was way too boozy for my tastes. it was the perfect snack before going to see the gorgeous glass exhibition of chihuly works at the morean arts center.

delicious!. visited here while on vacation - wish i had visited more! the sugar-free gelato is heavenly! i tried two other flavors that were tasty (like the violet!) but this chocolate is scrumptious. too bad you can't mail it to me! my friend and i had a wonderful time in st. pete. can't wait to come back!

great ice creams and coffee, the only bad thing was there's no diapers changing station in the restrooms, if you have a babies you will pass a hard time if you need change them
