very bad service. is there a way to give less than one star? my experience at thisrestaurantwas awful. **do not make plans to come here and have your reservation requirements met** i made a reservation a month in advance for a large party. when i called a week before, the staff had no idea what i was talking about. i spoke to ruth who gave me a new reservation. she assured me that the staff could do brunch for me (and the bridal shower i was hosting) at 11 on saturday. when we arrived, one of the staff members came out to tell me that they could not do brunch "because the kitchen was not prepared for it" and alleged that ruth had called me. of course she had not called to tell me that the kitchen would not be prepped for the reservation she had made for me. the staff person told me he could do breakfast and lunch menus instead. i agreed to that, sat down to order breakfast, and was told they could only do eggs. none of the rest of the breakfast menu was available. two people in my party ordered eggs, and the waiter was coy about it. one omelet came with potatoes, but the waiter failed to tell us this would not be included, so that meal was served late.
overall, the staff were cold, poorly managed, and disorganized. the food was fine, and the ambiance was great, but thisrestaurantstaff was not friendly and left a bad taste. i would not suggest thisrestaurantat all which is a shame since it is one of the few places in savannah that will take large reservations.
