intimate and authentic italian experience. some of the best italian in tampa. the food always is fresh and the service is excellent.

the menu itself is uninspiring, but, as the owner will tell you, they can make just about anypastadish. and the specials are numerous and always excellent.

it also is an intimate restaurant (seating for around 50 people) so be prepared to wait for a table if you don't go early or a little later. but it is worth the wait.

authentic. osteria is nestled away in a tiny nook of a establishment in palma ceia and is quite easy to miss. this however would be a shame for this is certainly one of the best italian places i have visited in tampa. the owner is directly from a small italian town off the adriatic sea and as expected, the menu reflects this richpastaand seafood heritage. its easy to taste after one bite that thepastais handmade and incredibly fresh. everything from the lively owner to the fantastic simple adjustments to otherwise mundane dishes (black olives crushed into the olive oil for bread for one) makes osteria natalina a must visit.

truly excellent. amazing italian cuisine. wife "sally" and i took her father out for dinner a few weeks ago and we loved all three dishes. i had a seafoodpastaspecial, sally had lasagna with "tons" of sausage, and dad had a chicken dish. we all agreed - best italian ever. oh the flavors! wonderful bread with garlic and olive oil dip. owner makes the experience. very warm and welcoming! if he moved this to a spot four times the size, he could still fill it every night. no reservations or call ahead so be patient. it is well worth it. you can wait in the wine bar down the way and they will call down for you when your table is ready. we will be back for sure!

after three trips to italy this is by far the closest you can get to authentic! it's the kind of place you don't want to get popular because you don't want to loose your place with them! aldolfo the server is fantastic! if you are use to thickpastasauces from a can you won't want this... only homemade from tomatoes like in italy!!!!pastais all homemade and always ask about the specials!!!!

warm friendly owner in a cozy spot with great food. can't pronounce the dishes- but all 3 of us had something fabulous ranging frompastato seafood and dessert. will be a go to from now on.:-)

great authentic italian dining experience. we felt like we were in a small osteria in italy. people were speaking italian, the owner sat us down and told us some of his favorites. we had a taste for seafood so he suggested the seafood risotto and homemadepastawith mixed seafood. the sauces andpastatasted like they came out of a grandmother's kitchen. as a bonus, they have some nice $30 bottles of wine.
