theloveand passion is an evident ingredient in all the food made at orchard. words cannot describe mylovefor the cafe soleil and coco luna and all the cold press juices. my body thanks me every time.

delicious, fresh and healthy juices. the store is gorgeous and their ingredients on display make for an inviting atmosphere. ilovethe tropical summer smoothie, without naartjie though. my only qualm is the prices - i understand it's all fresh produce, but the prices make it hard to open my purse as often as i'd like to for fresh juice. nonetheless, delicious though!

can't recall the name of this smoothie but it has coffee and iloveit. goddamit it's breakfast and a pick me up in one after a double shift. this drink is a blessing xxxx🍵

update: i really want tolovethis place. i really do! ilovewhat it stands for in terms of promoting health and plant based nutrition. but healthy need not taste like the earth.

on this occasion i ordered the willy wonka smoothie, since i was craving chocolate. once again, ingredients that have ‘earthy’ tones should be balanced with a little sweetness. agave nectar would’ve changed the whole flavour profile of this smoothie. i did not like this drink one bit. and after paying a tiny fortune for it; 3 sips later, i gifted it to a homeless person...


review 1: great little juice place on long street, where juices are freshly made upon order. i stopped by to pick up a green juice (need to get those greens in) and it was so refreshing. i did however feel like it needed a fruit (like an apple) to give it some sweetness - given it's just a green veggie juice.

ilovethis restaurant! it's easily accessible with very friendly staff. i can recommend everything on their menu! my one stop for breakfast lunch salads and snacks! being vegan has never been more fun! 😁

heard about this place from a friend and i am always looking for a new place in cape town.

one of the genuinely healthy places in cape town with multiple vegan options.

this tiny little gem of a place is difficult to find amongst the midst of shops in long street, but with such a high rating, i had to visit.

now, ilovemy smoothies, kauai, nü and other's. unfortunately these places tend to have a healthy façade and you can get a rude awakening when you realise what's in your smoothies and food. orchard is not an imposter and from their yummy and nutritious cold-pressed juices to their vegan wraps, they truly are genuinely healthy options (of course everything in moderation).

my sandwich was tasty and was medium sized, definitely bigger than average, more than enough for the healthy people with small stomachs that come here. i had the cocoa luna which is amazingly light with a faint taste of peanut butter throughout (i prefer this to it being overpowering) and full of healthy ingredients. my partner thoroughly enjoyed her vegan wrap although personally i think it looked a little small.

i've marked orchard down on being too small and cramped inside (not only when sitting down but when ordering as well) and also being difficult to find, i think it's time they find a new premises.

awesome little veggie eatery in the heart of cape town. great clean decor, ilovethe fruit and veg on display and the many vegan options across their entire range. try their vegan chocolate mouse!

love, love, love! i've had the cocoa luna and cafe soleil smoothies and both are dreamy! the cafe soleil is def my favourite, so yummy and creamy and as filling as a meal. i liked the cocoa luna but a bit to peanut buttery to my taste. ilovethat healthy food can be so tasty.

sneaking a little space opposite mama africa, orchard on long does absolutely err'thing right. i'm inloveand i'm struggling to find words for this love. the decor is simple, clean and fresh. for a few minutes i even considered building a little tent in the corner and making it my home.

ol specialises in the healthiest juices, smoothies and (few) foods. i couldn't decide what i wanted, so after about 9 years of thinking, i went for their berry smoothie known as the hullabaloo and a vegan wrap. my wrap had quinoa, hummus, carrots and a few other things. my lunch date went for the cocoa luna and a peanut butter and banana sandwich with 70% rye bread.

i don't have a single bad thing to say. the smoothies and food were purrfect! whoever started this heavenly place can be my new best friend, and i don't mind saying it first, iloveyou.

the guys working behind the counter are the coolest cats! they were super friendly and did their thang with a smile on their face while rocking their snazzy denim shirts (and aprons).

there isn't much more for me to say. they're amazing! oh, and they have a juice cleanse that i'dloveto try sometime. so pleeease do yourself a favour and pop in, it will leave you feeling inspired and wanting more of their healthy treats and less sweeties from the woolies at the engen down the road.
