went to olivia to test it out for an upcoming party. i had heard good reviews from people who had visited theplacewhen it was initially opened. but i had a very dissapointing experience. the one star i am giving is for valet parking, since most restaurants in meerut don't have this. the food quality and taste itself we're less than average. we ordered kadai paneer and dal tadka, both of which did not have any good taste. it was not bad but given the high cost of the dishes, it was quite unfair. i think they have not been maintaining theplacewell - the table cloth was actually slightly torn in 3 places, the bone of the bone china was chipping away at the edges for the saucer in which the soup was served. the vinegar for the onions also did not have any sour taste to it. the bread was decent though - we had ordered plain naan. the staff was also courteous.

they sent order so late. gave my order to someone else and then again made my order. took double time then delivery person again was standing at sameplacefor half an hour. got my order after 1.5 hours

the wholeplacewas empty and still we were told to go out for god know what reasons. worstplaceto go, staff don’t even know how to behave.

theplacehas been designed good. the interiors and the ambience created are inclined towards classic and must be appreciated for a city like meerut (which is still in a development stage).

i had ordered the soup and garlic bread.
soup was yum. garlic bread was fine (not good; reason could also be because we had it got cold; so would not comment it to be good/bad).

the music was awesome. they had kenny g series played all the time.
ambience was calm and peaceful. no hustle bustle.

however, few recommendations as below from my end.

1. i visited theplacewith my boyfriend. and while enquiring about theplacethe guard of the restaurant gave us subtle judging looks. hence, the staff sitting at/near the reception can be trained on a bit of hospitality manners.

2. on the first look, theplacelooks awesomely designed. however, on closer examination, it still requires further good maintenance. not everything can be garbed under the effect of good lighting.

e.g the sofas seemed as if they have not been vaccumed and cleaned; since a long time.
there was a slight layer of dust that could be detected on the decorations of the wall.

one should not focus 'only' on the tables to be clean.

coming to the tables, one could see the end of the tables severely chipped off.

overall furniture requires some good and frequent maintenance.

3. the air seemed quite damp, unfresh and stale. may be the ventilation system can be worked on a little bit to give a more fresh ambience to breathe in and feel good.

4. the final bill came out to be 368/- which we paid by giving 500/- cash. in return, we got 130/-.

it is not about me having 2/-. but it is about hotel's courtesy and integrity to value each penny of the customer and not assume on their own that 2/- or 5/- is of no value to the customer.

now among the worst and avoidableplacefor ordering food, they now cook food with insects inside, with hell lots of spices and pathetic oil and colors please avoid for your own good and wastage of time and money. overly priced with current quality

this is the worstplacei have ever eaten at. it is over hyped the food was not cooked properly the staff was rude and when complaint about the food the manager did not give a shit about the bad quality of food. they did not have the courtesy to apologise or even offer a better meal just took the money and we left. thisplaceis over hyped and people just have a good opinion about theplacemaybe because they don't see better options around. to call out better go to "outer limit" which is nearby olivia and is a far better restaurant in terms to food and service in the same price. olivia was such a regret and waste of money and food it shit.

another bestplacefor food lovers in meerut is olivia.had visited so so many times there.did so many parties.the food was really delicious taste with great quality,even the chef speciality was superb.loved the ambiance and the music they used to play.would recommend to everyone.

this is theplacegenerally i used to visit along with my family for parties , casual dinners , celebrations etc. the taste is so good the ambience is excellent ...... the dal makhni paneer butter masala are among my favourites but the only thing i don't like is value for my as recently they have reduced the quality of food we were so surprised by getting a small bowl of mixed riata in good amount of money ...they should work on quantity otherwise it's a good place

theplacedidn’t stand up to the name heard . the papad were stale and the sever accepted them being cooked at 4 pm and
served at 9 pm . with the food served rather cold and no server for serving food or water . though the soups were good . not worth another try for sure

hospitality is extremely poor. not a goodplacefor families. if u going stag then its fine. not concerned about customer's satisfaction. visited thisplacewith family but it was so regretful that spoils our day. taste was good but served breads which were not hot and when complained they got the same breads microwave hot

very unprofessional staff and untrained managers. starters were good but main course was a total spoiler. they don't even consider complaints seriously. spoiled our family party.placefor drinkers only, not for family outings.

additionplaceto go for the food with friends and family but don't go with huge hopes . it has good taste good service but overall i will give it 6.5 out of 10

overall thisplaceis just okay. its on a rooftop to hangout with your friends and to chill. i tried honey chilli chicken for which i ll give 4 out 5, it was served crispy and hot but i kept one star because it was not decorated well. rest i had north indian paneer and dal makhni, which was delicious. theplacehas vallet parking but the overall entrance is pathetic. going through lift and then stairs from the hotel, it felt going at a cheap place. also, sittingplacehad dirty cushions which kills the vibe.
its a suggestion to the owner of the place, in this instagram and facebook world, people look for beautiful and decoratedplacewhere they can take the pictures. so make the entrance and the mainplacemore attractive, add some photogenic background. this will attract more customers.

great place! even has a terrace that has a good ambience! the food tastes good and even the staff is courteous and quick to respond! a few more things can be added to the menu though and hence i’d not give thisplace5 stars !
