mixed review!!! i thought the ghoulash soup was excellent. maybe a bit salty but i didn't mind it. as for my meal, i got the "old bavarian" which is basically a bunch of meats with mashed & kraut. it was good. not great but good. now as for my girlfriends meal, she got the rahm schnitzle with spatzle and didn't care or it. she thought it was way to salty and didnt like the white cream sauce. the spatzle was that great either. i went back the next day for an excellent giant pretzel. now that was a delicious pretzel.

the food is very good, i liked the stuffed cabage the best. the service is not so great though. helpful hint, it's down an alley.

first off the food was fantastic! it reminded me exactly off the great food i ate while i lived there. granted, it was a bit pricey, but then again so were all of the german restaurants in the vicinity. the food was plentiful, delicious, and well worth the price. i strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone visitng alpine village!

way overpriced. a family of four should not pay $70 for lunch. why is this in the $ section? belongs in $$$ or $$$$. food is average at best. at least the service is good.
