tea initiates conversations, we all know that right? but this place is a place whereteainitiates programs and social changes too.
presenting the nukkadteaofficial, located at jalvihar, close to marine drive, raipur. they have total four outlets here in raipur, they started with samta colony in 2013. the main motive of the place was empowering the differently abled people as well as, making a venture which is worthwhile with a cause. started by two young entrepreneurs, priyank patel and tupesh. every cafe had a new cause to serve. a new workplace for the deaf and dumb people, transgenders, mentally retarded and other differently abled people. theteais very good here. also, the starters are a must try.

nukkad teafe is an institution in itself in raipur. it's well known for employing people from the marginalised sections of the society as servers (deaf/mute/transgender).

it's a quaint little cafe with bohemian vibes, scattered with low seating, fairy lights and buddhist flags (the ones you get in ladakh). one wall is decorated with a mural of ateastall. the place is always filled with people.

i ordered for a jaggeryteaand samosa pizza (which is like a pizza mcpuff). the food is decent and was served hot. i just wish the samosa had more filling.

if you are looking for quick bites and a chill place to hang out, this is a good option in raipur.

not being biased, the place has appalling interiors and mini games to get you engaged. the food is pretty normal. the uniqueness of this place is that all workers here are specially abled. i have tried basic veg sandwich and cold coffee. the place is much more famous for the kinds ofteathey serve. do check them out of you are a fan of tea.

been here many a times..... the place is perfect for a coasy and comfortable outing..... the food is basic but grt to taste.... specially like theteaselection here...... what's more is that my grandparents both like to haveteafrom this place.... only place in raipur where they are okay to haveteaoutside home......kudos to the owners

🔹nukkad gives a rural touch in this urban india. the beauty depicted on the wall art, of a village scene, is just beautiful. the lighting, interior, arrangement of the place is quite brilliantly done.👐

🔸it has so many elements to give the place a personal touch like, the games provided, 📚 books kept for reading, guitar kept as a decor piece, it will remind you of a soothing and comforting environment.

🔹it has a wall where, people share their experience by writing it down on a 📄 tissue paper and hanging it with the help of a pin.

🔸it is very organized in taking care of their customers and their requests. a lot of events like open mic poetry 🎤 also takes place at this cafe.

🔹a great initiative that nukkad has taken is appointing people with hearing or speech difficulties.💕proper instruction signs are displayed on the menu for any kind of query that can come up, like, asking for a spoon, water, or simply saying thank you! 😊

🔸staff is always alert towards all the tables occupied by customers and they are very polite while serving and saying goodbye after a meal. real hospitality and courtesy can be seen in the mannerism of the staff. a big thumbs up👍 to the effort by the people working here.

🔹nukkad is one of the famous hangout places, so, if you are planning to visit during rush hours, you will have to wait for a minimum of 20-30mins.

⚫kashmir kahwa - saffron with almond created a taste that was so strong and perfect for a hot cup of tea. a must try 👍
⚪strawberry mint icetea- a chill drink for a summer afternoon. the balance of mint and strawberry is refreshing.
⚫chinese bhel - the only dish, i got disappointed from. the reason for 4 star and not 5. the bhel was crispy but the sauce it was made in was way too salty and tangy. vegetables were missing and as an individual dish, it didn't stand out.
⚫spicy masala fries - a below average dish. the masala added was quite good but the quality of fries was lagging. it seemed like mccain fried and really set the dish on a lower quality.
⚪mexican maggie - the sauce really made a difference in taste. the maggie taste was subdued by the mexican flavor and herbs. if you love mexican food, this is a must try. 👍
⚫nukkad special maggie - my absolute favorite. the vegetables and cheese added makes the maggie so flavorsome. must have when you visit nukkad ♥

🔸 as a whole, the experience this place gives is lovely. you need to try your options before you know what you really like.

◾the place is worth the time and money as it's very reasonably priced.

the pioneer in bringing together the bliss of ateastall and peppyness of a cafe, nukkad has grown from being the hot spot for appetizing food to a hub for social activities in town.
set up to represent a cozy corner of your house where you can relax and unwind with your tea/coffee and maggie, the restaurant is nothing less than heaven!
the staff (being differently abled) is courteous and the food is scrumptious, and you can spend endless hours here admiring the artistic walls, reading, sipping or even beating your friends over a game of ludo!
it is definately my go to place.

i am not atealover . however when my parents are in town i have always accompanied them to this place at city centre mall. infact this review is on behalf of my parents . they simply loved theteaserved here . although i haven’t tasted anything here , one thing which is worth mentioning is how specially abled staffs are hired and they are earning their livelihood with a pride . kudos to the entrepreneur who helped realised the dream of these people . way to go nukkad.

the only reason you should visit this place is because it'll give youteafor 30rs( very distasteful of course) and you can sit there for about an hour or two. the food is bizzare. overpriced. the only good things are the mattresses. they give employment to physically challenged people is something i really appreciate and respect though.

bestest place to have a cozy comfortable evenings with your frnds and to have meetings too !
do visit the place for variety of flavours ofteaif you are a chai person !
