this is the best bingsu (korean shaved ice dessert) place in brisbane. i've been here more than 10 times this year and everytimei walk out with a smile of satisfaction. i would say this place is the one place i don't feel guilty for eating a whole bowl of goodies. although the pricing might seem like a burden at first, it's totally worth how much you get. not only is there bingsu bust also frozen yogurt and confectionary to customise your own dessert. i would recommend to try this place if you walk past by!

this is the best experience we had in brisbane lol. we went there on consecutive days. love the sesame one! would love to go there nexttimewhen we go to brisbane again.

always a great dessert to share! tried the misugaru bingsu for the firsttimeand loved it. staff are not very friendly though :/ the shop is a little narrow, but that can’t be helped. we didn’t wait for overly long, perhaps 15mins? and it always looks amazing when the staff bring the bingsu out

on a sunday late afternoon, this place was packed! we waited for 10mins and got a seat, ordered our oreo bingsu and waited for another 10mins. the wait is worth it because their bingsu portions are huge and it's also very delicious! the amount of effort andtimeput into the dessert makes it worth the $15. it can get quite filling for 2 people, so i recommend 3/4 people sharing one bingsu.

tast but expensive bingsu and they raised their prices by $2! was also the worst customer service i've ever experienced. one short rude lady working made us wait for a table for 20min and by thetimewe were just about to sit down she told us the kitchen was closed so we  couldnt order and basically waited for nothing. we came back then next day at 10:10pm and they told us kitchen was closed again and we asked why because online they say they close 11pm and the rude lady working again said "ohh kitchen closes at 10-10:20pm" and i said well it's 10:10pm can you please let us eat because you made us wait yesterday and she just gave us a glare and shrugged her shoulders at us like "that's not my problem"

[edit 15/2/18: after trying all the bingsoo flavours and the froyo, i have to say the bingsoo is worth the money but the froyo is not. fave bingsoo would be the original or if i want smth a bit sweeter, strawberry. least fave would be blueberry because it’s just super sweet...

when i tried the froyo, the mochi tasted off which was a huge x for me since i basically piled on the mochi because usually mochi tastes so good with froyo. thistimethe texture was just completely wrong and flavour was off. i just really hated every mouthful. the froyo itself is a bit watery and overly sweet if you get the flavoured ones (eg strawberry). the fresh pieces of strawberry/other fruits helped cut through the sweetness with its acidity but overall, i wasn’t pleased with my experience, especially considering the price point.

over the numerous visits i’ve made, i’ve come to be disappointed by their service. the bingsoo is lovely but the people who are running this place can be borderline rude. i know that when it’s hot and there are heaps of ppl inside a small place, they just want ppl to buy and leave asap but it just feels so impersonal and kinda ruins the experience for me whenever the staff just treat you like an atm. i wish they were friendlier and treated the customers with more respect.]

always coming here to have dessert with friends. their bingsoo: matcha, original (soybean) and strawberry are fantastic.

matcha froyo is a bit sour. when pouring the condensed milk, it makes the matcha powder go everywhere but otherwise, really refreshing to eat.

soybean is probably my favourite. it tastes somewhat like a less dense/dry version of peanut butter. the mochi is a great addition of texture.

strawberry: was surprised by the number of strawberries. definitely on the sweeter side but still refreshing.

service is a bit cut and dry but not a big deal imo. music is great

my friends and i love going to this place as they have the best frozen yogurt in the cbd. however, lasttimei went, one of my friends didn't know how to use the machine and the lady who served us was very rude and unpleasant to deal with. she, instead of explaining how to use the machine, went off at my friend. that is very poor customer service.

this is my favourite dessert place. it's perfect anytimeof the day, and you can have just as much as you want! the flavours are all delicious, and not too sweet. there are lots of toppings to choose from. it's never as expensive as you think it will be and the staff are very friendly.

being from melbourne, we are massive frozen yoghurt fans. we may be spoilt by that though too; spoilt by the fact that there are a couple of newer businesses in melbourne that have embraced a new way with froyo - refined sugar free & vegan-friendly, anti-mass produce.

unfortunately, when you begin to get used to that, tasting the stock standard froyo just makes me leave disappointed. it's overloaded with sugar firstly. secondly, some flavours are either far too creamy or far too icy, or they're just lacking flavour altogether. in addition, all the toppings are mass-produced items almost like they're off the shelf from a convenience store.

frozen yoghurt stores need to start dissing the coco pops, sour lollies & mnm's and bringing in good quality natural products such as goji berries, almond/coconut flakes, nuts etc.

hint: cut down the number of frozen yoghurt soft serve dispensers and limit the flavours to about 5 or 6 - give them love and take pride in them, instead of trying to put on 12 at atimeand doing them all to a substandard level. i'd only eat this again if i had a severe sugar craving or i was desperately hungry - i'm sorry.

nice and clean little place. great service. the yogurt is always frozen and light. however lasttimei went it was a little watery which makes the serving size a little small and expensive at the counter. but i hope its a one off. i often come here when i'm after something cheap and small. waffles aren't too bad too and only $3. there is also a great selection of flavours everytime.
