we had the opportunity to visit noaa social dining a few weeks back.
noaa social is a trendy place located in the yu hotel on the happening streets of candolim.
it is a perfect place to enjoy fusion food while sipping on amazing drinks. they have a special collection of gin based cocktails. from the cardamom-scented to the rosemary-infused, their bartenders infuse gin for a minimum of 96 hours to get you the most subtle flavours to savour. they add an indian twist to asian food to suit the indian palate.
for appetisers we tried tandoori chicken blackrolland chicken tikka naaniza. the tandoori chicken sushi was something we had never heard of but surprisingly tasted really good. the naaniza is basically a chicken tikka pizza with naan as the base. it had a mint topping and was packed with flavours. we highly recommend you to try this. for the main course we tried their spinach mushroom sticky rice which was served with herbed oil and crispy garlic spice mix.
since no meal is complete without a dessert, we ordered their chocolate coconut ice and noaa’s dark. the chocolate coconut ice is a rich chocolate mousse with traditional goan coconut ice and raspberry compote at the base of the mousse. the tartness of raspberries complimented the mousse well. it was a perfect end to our meal.
