nic's grill

the burger really is good. not better than my grandmas, bigger but not better. the pricing is very fair. i think nic must be living on the tips cause he isn't charging enough for those burgers to be profitable. ultimately, i'm not a wait in line in the heat kinda guy. i may go back someday, but you can bet it will be in the spring or fall.

another great visit. had breakfast this morning. it was slow and we had a chance to visit with nic while we ate. he's not just a great cook, he's a super nice guy. thanks nic for another great meal.

even better this time. went back to nic's today for breakfast, this time with my fiancé. we got there at the prefect time i guess, because we got a seat right away & then moved to the main counter a few minutes later. the food was out of this world! great flavor and a laid back feeling that starts with nic as he methodically works the grill. this place is fun to be in and has some of the best breakfast i've ever eaten.

what a meal. had my first (and definitely not my last) visit to nic's yesterday morning for breakfast - this place is tiny and you get to know the guy next to you cause you're sitting so close, but wow - by far the best breakfast i've had in a long time. i can't wait to make it by for lunch and try a burger.

my o' my. those of us from texas brag that we have the best of all things,....but we don't have nic's. my goodness what a great experience and meal. sitting in that small room, smelling the onions and the grill was just tremendous and the flavor was above all expectations. am i gushing too much? no! if it wasn't for the patrons breathing down my neck, counting down my fries, hoping to grab my seat, it would have been the perfect experience. next time, i'm going to ignore the stares, the frowns, the expectations of those in line and savor my throne at the counter and enjoy every bite.

best burgers in oklahoma. i start drooling when i walk in to see that amazing pile of caramelized onions. yes, really caramelized from cooking down forever. then nic slaps down a baseball of fresh packed hamburger and i get giddy... only complaint is canned mushrooms... meh. everything else makes up for it. service is fast, friendly, and they remember you.

finally got around to trying this place out. we went early (got there at 1030) and grabbed bar stools. within ten minutes the open tables filled. placed our orders for onion cheese burgers and watched the magic. as we waited the place filled to standing room only before 1045. our foot was delicious. of course i tried the meat seperate first, it does need the onions. while the burgers are huge, i wouldn't say the meat has all the flavor. those onions though....they'll get ya. great food. in and out. a must try in okc

worth a trip from fort worth. ever since nic's was on triple d i have had a quest to find a burger in the dallas/ft. worth area as good as nic's.
i have read every review and tried every new burger place. we have had some pretty good burgers but none that even come close to nic's. when my son graduates from ou and i no longer have a reason to go to oklahoma i will make a day trip just to get my nic's fix. i just can't find any place that compares. i don't even have a big appetite but at nic's i eat the whole thing. i hate it when i get full.....i just don't want the experience to end.

the best burger you will have in your life. i've yet to find better. the only downsides are the small space and the stink.

it's not the type of place to go if you're trying to watch your calories and/or have claustrophobia....but its freakin' awesome otherwise!!!!

awe...ate lunch there today. i had the fried chicken. yummy yumny! the rest of out group had burgers, they looked really good too. nic is so friendly and does such a good job. go okc thunder!

real meat!. like an old time grill! real meat cooked right! had lunch there today, i was a happy piggee at lunchtime, yes i was!

must try it at least once!. very good, big, juicy, messy onion cheeseburger!
limited seating so be patient - they get people through pretty quickly.
