i don't know if this was a onetimeproblem, but the 2 gravies were little less salty than expected. also, both gravies were a bit too spicy. so that can be worked upon. other than that it was great

this is a must visit place if you are in udupi we had 3 desserts here which i would recommend any person to have if you are dessert lover it will satisfy your taste buds

about banana split
it had 3 flavour ice cream chocolate, butterscotch and strawberry.. topped with chocolate nutties, cashews and kismis
at the bottom there were fruits and sev
and side was filled up with 2 bananas
one of the banana wasn’t that ripen so it gave a bad taste but as the overall taste on the other side went good so can give a rating of 3.5/5
about gadbad
the picture of gadbad justifies the richness in taste 5/5 for it the nexttimei am gonna have gadbad is this place it had a layer of jelly, falooda sev, fruits, mango icecream
about titanic
again 5/5 for the icecream it has great taste had 3 scoop icecream with sides filled with 2 slab icrecream bottom was layered with fruits and falooda sev must taste this
i will recommend all the 3 dishes
and would love to visit this place

for vegetarian, new shanthi sagar is one of the bests in udupi. reasonable options spread over different categories. the food preparationtimeis minimum and hence, very convenient to order through zomato or swiggy . ice cream sundaes, especially banana split sundae is of the top notch here.

i don't know how relevant a quick visit to my native place would sound but recently i'd been to my native just for 3 days so would recall it as a quick visit. happened to hop into this restaurant, the restaurant's huge board won't take yourtimeto locate it.
the only veg restaurant, was open at around 11.30pm when all the other restaurants as far as i know in udupi shuts at 10pm(too early for a mumbaikar to have dinner)

▶️dal fry-- i loved the dal fry. different flavour and the aroma was good.
▶️mix veg-- it's my tradition that when i don't find anything specific to have in the menu i order a mix veg. so this wasn't so good as i expected it to be. there wasn't paneer at all. mix veg strictly had beans, carrot and cauliflower.
i'd these two with rotis, were made of atta-- not whole wheat rotis.
moderately priced and service is okay. overall a good veg restaurant to visit when in udupi(couldn't click pictures as my phone's battery gave up also was in a hurry).
