my neighborhood market has made me the envy of my family. even my very discerning niece, who lives in london, always makes a point to shop ns when she is here visiting me. i used to call it the "attractive nuisance" because it is so close and so beguiling that i would visit nearly every day. it is an expensive place to shop for one meal at a time because you just won'tplanahead.
lately their merchandisingplanhas changed mostly for the better, a wider range of items and price points have been added. prepackaged items from their own brands are now merchandised in several areas, to fulfill your need for speed. i really don't need or want velveeta, but you can now find it at ns! many prices are better than safeway and fred meyer, and the quality of their fresh foods is unparalleled. add to that their very gracious, knowledgeable and friendly staff and it his hard to beat the shopping experience at new seasons.
