super tasty - great lobster rolls!. the fried asparagus was also fabulous. these guys don't miss a beat. it's crowded, so have reservations and know that you may still have a bit of a wait... it's going to be worth it!

i am not sure that i agree with d magazine that neighborhood services is the best restaurant in dallas, but i would definitely put it in my top 10. the service was amazing, despite the fact that the place was packed to the gills. we will return to neighborhood services because there are many menu items that we both want to try.

everything was great but.... on busy nights they could use extra bartenders and perhaps one or two staff members to assist waiters with bar orders. our waitress had zero extra time to be concerned with bar orders. i think almost everyone at our table of 10 would have ordered at least 1 extra drink if it didn't take the bar 15 minutes to fill our order.

other than that, the food was fresh, tasty and expertly prepared. our waitress did an incredible job with our table and i saw her busily delivering food to her other tables. i had the scallops which i think were the best i have ever had. i also had the steak tartare which tasted wonderful but i could have used a little heat - red pepper or sriracha.
i was too full to make it to dessert but someone at the table let me have a bite of theirs and it was unbelivably good.

i will return.

specials rotate daily with fresh seafood flown in or a specialty meat of the chefs choice. whether patrons choose the regular menu or the daily special all options lead to great food!

bazaar but wonderful experience. this place is strange (in a good way) but hard to describe. first of all, it's very hard to find, even when you know where it is because the sign is small and the facade is very unassuming. second, the waitstaff are not just waiters, our waiter was the owner of the popular restaurant the porch. he made great recommendations for food and alcohol. the decor is classy and elegant but not stuffy. we had the wedge salad, fried asparagus, sea-bass, creme de pot, and fried pie. all were great.

delicious. it was so good!!! loved the ambiance as well. great for a date/double date night! definitely finish it off with the fried pie! it is easy to miss on the street, so look for a rug place and a valet! we all loved it!

i'll be honest, i came here a couple of years ago and was not impressed. today is my second visit in as many weeks and both were home runs. london broil, veal, mac & cheese, and at least three of the seasonal fish dishes were to die for. service was good too, and i like the atmosphere although it's a bit loud.

chicken pot pie on thursdays best in dallas! nick has the knack for great food!

great food, great service. i have been here many times and it is consistently great... wine list is always good and priced reasonably...

it's warm, friendly, and d**n delicious (the boy next door!). the decor inside is understated, again, a restaurant with good food doesn't need glitz (remember? nhs is effortlessly cool).

oh so yummy!. very fun neighborhood bistro for dinner. food is hot, spiced nicely and consistently delicious. i concur with d magazine that is is one of the best restaurants in dallas. it is nice to see d rate this restaurant so highly when it is not one of the chi chi expensive posh and pretentious restaurants hats off to d magazine for picking a really good restaurant as its top choice for good food. i hear that this restaurant is expanding into different neighborhoods. my fear is that chains may ruin its quality, but lets wait and see. for now, great place for a family dinner.

where do i even begin? over the last 2 months i've been to 4 different cities for vacation, work, and wedding festivities. just for fun, i'm recapping my travels and all of the amazing food i've been eating while away from home.

a-mazing food!. so delicious!!!!!!!!! unfortunately everyone else must think so as well bc there is always at least a 45 minute wait, oh well! it is totally worth it. outstanding service doesnt hurt either.

a must try!

can't wait to go back. i live in austin, and i cannot wait to go back to neighborhood services. everything we ate was delicious. they have a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives that is to die for and be sure to try the butterscotch dessert too!
