in eastnashvillefor the first time and looking for a place for breakfast, we decided to trynashvillebiscuit house. i was somewhat concerned given the occasional bad review here. we did wait a long time - about 30 minutes at 11 a.m. - but once seated the service was fast and friendly. and the food was worth the wait! at our table we ordered eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, pancakes and home fries. and everything was delicious. can't speak to the quality of grits, but let's keep this in perspective. you're in a biscuit house. order biscuits. you won't be disappointed.

after reading several articles recommending thenashvillebiscuit house, we stopped for breakfast. i wanted to like it. the waitresses are friendly and attentive. it's a comfortable place- nothing pretentious here. but a couple misses overshadowed the yummy biscuits. first would be the whipped "spread" that accompanied the biscuit and also melted, pooled on the grits. give me butter or give me... nothing! the country ham was way too salty and the coffee weak. i expect ham to be salty but this was all i could taste. the eggs were perfect and prices great.

we showed up at six in the morning with a party of 23. the waitresses seemed surprised at the large group, but they handled the situation with grace. everyone got their orders and ate well. not a single complaint, even from the picky ones. many thanks to the cooks and waitresses ofnashvillebiscuit house for a good morning meal before a long, ten hour car trip!

straight forward breakfast. tried this place since the family was out of town and it was very similar to sylavan park restaurant with better servers and a better sausage. not sure why all the breakfast places innashvilleuse frozen then fried potatoes with no seasoning as their hash browns. also not sure why this place is called biscuit house as it is good butnothing special. a good place for a no frills breakfast with good service.

best breakfast innashville!. everybody in eastnashvillegoes to the biscuit, esp on the weekends. there are always people from all over the area there, too, though. looks a little sketchy from the outside, but inside is homey, friendly and full of great food. we always leave stuffed and the prices are great. great burgers, too. handmade. if your into old fashioned meat and 3, this is also the place. they season everything like grandma did, with fatback, salt pork, you name it. catfish is the best anywhere.
