nahaam - conrad abu dhabi etihad towers

in my humble opinion, a good slice of pizza starts with a good dough. i'm not italian and can't tell a legit napoli pizza. but i sure can tell if a pizza is done with a nice crisp bite!

at nahaam, jumeirah etihad towers, i spotted my kind of dough--pliant but not stiff, crispy but not toasted, fluffy yet light on the inside with everything (including toppings) evenly cooked all around.

weorderedpizza porcini and margherita which are both flavour packed but very light on the stomach. you can always tell when ingredients are fresh by its vibrant, bright and savory notes. the tangy tomatoes, savoury blend of oil and garlic as well as the fresh and distinct flavours of porcini mushrooms, basil and roquette leaves. there's a generous amount of mozarella cheese but not an overwhelming blanket of it.

one quality pizza with quality ingredients indeed! it is definitely worth the price to get your pizza cravings satisfied in a lovely chill-out place in a luxuriously jumeirah-feel atmosphere.

i went with my family for dinner to nahaam, and it was a great experience. we sat outside. we got complimentary bread that tasted good. weorderedangus beef burger which taste was really good. we alsoorderedthe healthy pizza that was ok. the staff is friendly, and the service is fast.

worst 5 star food ever i ever had ! iordereda wagyu burger 🍔 medium cooked and it tasted bland , wasn't medium cooked and the bun was so average. as for the pad thai , it doesn't taste like a normal pad thai , the noodles were over cooked and despite it being medium spicy that didn't improve the taste. these awards sure have made me believe that i was about to be blown away by quality food they have ,i was wrong .
if you want some the best pad thai in abu dhabi then go for benjarong at dusit thani . as for a burger go with jones the grocer , they have a much better wagyu burger for a cheaper price.

i am taking time to write this review as they really deserve it. my wife and i went there last night for the first night (won't be the last) and we were glad with our choice. weorderedthe seafood paella and it was the best i have hadordereddrink and they were amazing i asked for a spanish popular cocktail drink that was not in the menu but they made it for me and it was just like in madrid. service was great specially rudra & bishnu. place is amazing with an outside seating by the pool and over looking the beach and the palm trees. exceptional place, highly recommended. bonus: you can use the entertainer.

my family and i went out for dinner to nahaam late evening and it was a great experience.

to start with, we sat outside since the weather got better but ended up sitting inside because of the loud music.

we got complimentary bread which wasn't fresh but tasted good. weordereddish of the day which consisted of mixed grilled seafood and seafood paella. it took around 30 mins or more to cook which was fine with us and it tasted amazing! so fresh! you can tell if the food is quality or not. it was quality. definitely recommending both dishes.

we also had spanish churros with fried ice-cream for dessert and it was simply amazing! and of course moroccan tea.

the overall experience was fantastic. definitely coming back here.

had visited etihad towers over the weekend and have had dinner at nahaam, hadorderedbuffalo wings, portions were small for two people but it tasted good. for mains weorderedfish & chips, was good but it could have been better and char grilled beef burger, that was splendid, it was a good sized burger. then weorderedfruit brulee for dessert and that was heavenly. the service was excellent. oh forgot about the view, stunning.

went for lunch. seated at a nice spot next to the pool. the chairs could be more comfortable. weather was fantastic. first thing i asked for was the wifi. they had the hotel wifi which was free to use, but is excruciatingly slow.

 anyhow, i came here to eat.ordereda prawn to yam soup for started and wok ginger chicken with hoi sin sauce and jasmine rice for the main. a sparkling water with lemon for drinks. served within 5 minutes. the service here was excellent. they always made sure to fill my glass and to ask if i needed anything. lived up to its 5 star status. 

after 10 mins of taking the order, the waiter brought out some warm bread and butter. the bread did not seem overly fresh, but it tasted pretty good. the soup was served shortly. the broth was spicy and drew from flavour from the mushrooms and prawns inside the soup. however, when it came to eating them, they were rather chewy and seemed undercooked. 3.5/5

after 20 minutes or so, the main course was served, in large white plates, with an elegant design across the edges. the presentation was decent. as i ate the chicken, i noticed a recurring problem of undercooked food, as i found it to be quite chewy. i felt the overall flavour did not work either. 2.5/5

the jasmine rice however made up for that. it was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and had a sweet buttery taste to it. 5/5

so, would i eat here again? verdict: no
