thefoodat mythos is delicious. i always prefer the meze selection but the last time i ate there i ordered off the menu and was surprised by the quality of their main courses. the drinks are a bit overpriced in my opinion but thefoodis quality and the service top notch.

my friends and i recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at mythos last week. i was impressed with the vegetarian options available. i cannot remember the name of the meal i had but it was mushrooms, spinach and feta! thefoodwas fresh and delicious. the ambiance was inviting a glass or two of wine so ofcourse we obliged. for dessert we devoured the macaroons. i love macaroons but many places that offer macaroons usually fall short. mythos did not disappoint. such a pleasant experience. #tastejoburg

one of my favorite restaurants! great food. great vibe. i was there for the sunday lunch 'rush' and prepared myself for a delayed service. but thefoodcame out quick. the service was excellent! loved every second!

was our first visit to mythos and definitely not the last 😀😀.

thefoodwas extremely tasty and well prepared. there was enough choices for vegetarians.

service was also quite good. the restaurant has a nice busy vibe 😊. a good idea to rather make a reservation.

i am mad about mythos! even thinking about it now makes me miss those warm summer nights sharing some tapas with a friend on the deck. the restaurant's layout and location is great, service is on a good standard, thefoodis amazing and the atmosphere very welcoming. not a place i'd think about visiting during the winter, although i'm sure it's still worthwhile, but it's the ideal place for a summer rendez-vous...

had a late lunch with a friend and thefoodwas amazing! loved the atmosphere and setting. they provided heaters and blankets for people sitting outside. loved that! 👍🏾

are you looking for something completely different? if so mythos might just do it for you. their meza platters to share are great and open your word up to different types offoodyou don't exactly eat every day.

if you enjoy a good time and greek food, or anyfoodfor that matter this spot is for you. they have a great range of cocktails and super delish platters that you can build yourself. it's great for a social gathering and all round fun. on some occasions they even break plates and things. if you enjoy macaroons too then this is the place you want to go. they are tasty tasty tasty so make sure you get more than one flavour.

really wonderful setting and attentive staff. the vibe isn't amazing but it can be classified as pretty laid back. thefoodwas exquisite! i do however think that even though thefoodis prepared well and is authentic , it is highly overpriced for the quantity you get. i could get the same dish somewhere else with the same quality and half the price.

mythos is a fine place for a family meal. we had a post xmas lunch with my brother and family there on sunday 28 des 2014. we shared two meze platters, one vegetarian and one with meat and fish. these are tasty and filling. so
filling, that most of our group could not face main cources and ordered starter portions instead.
the best dish of the day was the grilled lemon baby chicken. succulent, juicy with caramelised bits and the fresh astringent lemon. served with crispy fried greek styled chips, a marvelous meal! i had pastitsio, a mediocre attempt, not satisfying my senses. the best part was the accompaning side salad.
if greekfoodsuite your appetite, it will be worth remembering mythos.
you will experience friendly service and finefoodwithout pretension.

this is a lovely mythos branch with above average service from well-trained servers. the decor is lovely and transports you to the greek isles. thefoodis great, offering all the traditional greek dishes that you would expect. it tends not to get as busy as the other restaurants at the square so it makes for a quieter, more romantic dinner option.

mythos hasn't disappointed me, although its a franchise. thefoodis good and its a nice no frills lunch place. do like the interiors as well. location is also good although shopping malls aren't my favorite. but will be back

at mythos one can enjoy different types of meze platters, and a host of authentic greek dishes – kleftico being my favorite. the crisp uncluttered decor of white with shades of blue and green compliment thefoodby providing a serene mediterranean ambiance. 7 different types of combo menus on offer is a great way to enjoy varied greekfoodat a price which suits ones pocket. the staff is ever smiling and eager to serve.
