my square - doubletree by hilton

i went with my family for ramadan iftar buffer. the buffet looked good but when we started, we figured out that main courses was very limited (4 hot items) and not commonly known like harees, dolma, and molokhya with shrimp!
service was not very quick despite the fact thatstaffwas nice & friendly. but with less than 5 tables occupied in the restaurant, empty dishes waa not changed until someone asks & it took ~15min to refill the soup.
seeing other reviews now make it clear that choices there are limited so maybe not recommended in ramadan

i like the rustic modern, industrial ambiance. thestaffwere friendly and helpful. i only had the veg pizza. it didn’t lack flavor but it was a little on the soggy side. the small water was the same price as a draft. that was a little disappointing. over i’ll rate a 3.5

this weekend check out the unlimited a la carte brunch at my square at doubletree by hilton, business bay. 

you will love the array of the delicious food served at your table with unlimited drinks and a live dj in the house to make your friday even more amazinggg. 

we visited my square last week and had a great time. you get the refreshing welcome drinks and then taken to your table.

there were hot and cold starters. the hot starters were mushroom cappuccino, beetroot falafel sliders, 50/50 tacos and wood oven cauliflower pizza. 

the cold starters we had were caprese salad, asian greens rice wrap, smoked salmon bruchetta and a mix of arabic mezze platter (hummus, tabbouleh and mutabbal)

the main course had grilled nile perch with spicy tomato sauce, sautéed veggies, vegan bolognese pasta, glazed baby back ribs and korean sticky wings. the vegan bolognese pasta tasted just like meat while the ribs tasted fantastic as it had bbq sauce glaze and paprika seasoning. the meat melted in the mouth.

the desserts tray was the show stopper. yess, it was a royal platter that has steamy look with the liquid nitrogen poured in around the tray. in pictures you can see:

this is one place that i loved the most. the food was so tasty, the ambiance was really good, friendlystafftimely service at the table.

the friday brunch is at aed 189 for the soft package that includes soft drinks like coca cola, sprite, ginger ale, tonic. thepremium package includes a variety of alcohol.

don't forget to visit my square at double tree by hilton business bay every friday to experience their sumptuous brunch.

ambience is nice,staffare friendly, but the food was with distance the worst experience we had since years. very limited variety, and doesn't taste good. if you want a 5 star buffet experience, then avoid this place!

my square was my daily kitchen for the past year. breakfast is very good. they offer a good variety of food. the buffet dinner is very rich too.staffare very friendly and helpful. ambience is also very good. i would definitely recommend it for breakfasts and dinners.

first visit and super great experience.
food so delicious even with many selections ,staffso polite from the african hostess to the asian waitress .

went with family for buffet. being vegetarians - will not recommend the place. the food is bare minimum for the buffet. limited options for non veg. as well. quality and taste is standard. nothing stands out except service from staff. thestaffis exceptional in making you have a pleasant and comfortable evening. dining wise we asked the chef to get 1 veg dish to eat. the warm bread was added later on special request considering we had salad and curry to eat with baked potatoes.
dessert is ok.

suggestion: they should maximize there live kitchen options to offer pasta and pizza or fresh arabic bread. else buffet not recommended for vegetarians.

went for dinner last weekend. the ambiance was calm & cozy. there are not much guests i guess. anyhow the food was great in quality, however the choices are very limited. i just enjoyed my salad and nachos. it's like you are having an entire appetizer for your dinner which is good if you want to eat light.

thestaffare polite, and supervisor named prakash even gave us a complimentary coffee.

i love the atmosphere because its peaceful & not loud. will definitely be back and i highly recommend it. 😁

so last week i've visited here to fulfill my need. we had dinner there, first of all i really like the place, the atmosphere. the food is good not much but enough, a lot of choices. thestaffis friendly, the manager also really friendly. overall that was good experience.

we hosted our daughter’s 13 th birthday party in my square, double tree by hilton .
the menu was put together with great taste, attention to detail.
thestaffwent the extra mile to make the event a big success.
the girls had a ball and there was enough space to do all they wanted- play games, dance.

special thanks to mr paul fernandes , mr prakash and their team.

this new property has been done up very tastefully and is worth a visit .

my first experience of eating at my square’s breakfast buffet was a very pleasant one indeed. i had visited them to try out their breakfast buffet. the first part that caught my eye was that it was only aed 70 which to me seems like an absolute steal taking into consideration that most hotels do not offer so much variety at a breakfast for such a low price.

the ambiance is simply amazing with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. the look and feel of the restaurant has its soothing effect on you making you feel like you’re having a meal in a foreign country with not a care in the world.

i particularly like the variety of the food that they offered. they had the american style breakfast options, the intercontinental breakfast options & the english style breakfast option and more.

the food tasted delicious and flavorful and were replaced very promptly when almost over.

thestaffvery hospitable and really friendly as they made their way to each of the guest enquiring if everything was fine and if they could assist in any possible way. they treated all guest the same which is pretty awesome.

all in all i had a very pleasant experience and i highly recommend visiting here as i surely will.
