so i had a hankering for achickentikka tonight... chatted with a mate who advised me in favour of my diners north beach. i called in my order, fetched it 20 minutes later... satisfactory food... i mean it is not fine dining, so you can't really expect too much. but i have no complaints. thanks my diners.

the food at my diner is on par with other tikka establishments. i always gsve thechickentikka orchickenboth. it's average. the naan is crisp and tasty. seemingly nice setting on the beach front however the large number of beggars and vagrants have caused me to opt for inside seating. booths need a revamp.

we were taken out for supper to my diners on the beach front. i ordered thechickenvindhaloo and my wife the prawn masala. we both ordered some garlic and rogni naan on the side. for an indian cuisine the food was nice. the seating plan was quite cramped. the manager and staff were having an argument in front of the customers. this made everyone feel very uncomfortable. very unprofessional.

food is good, the paneer andchickentikka especially with butter naan. service is pathetic, food does take longer than you expect. it's worth the wait if you craving some authentic indian food.

we've once had a bad experience in terms of poor service and walked out. decided to try it again in a big group. the food didn't disappoint.
thechickentikka,chickenkorma and butterchicken,and mutton bunny chow were all really good. the naan was excellent too.just be ware if u break and crockery u will be charged

i'm a typical joburger and my time is important to me. 15 minutes should be 15 minutes and not 30 minutes. mild in durbs is hot in gauteng. i had a strongchickentikka. enough said.

excellent bunny chows. we were looking for bunny chows for lunch and weren't disappointed. great flavor. the tikkachickenlooked excellent too

thechickentikka is best. service varies been here a few times on occasion food took a while to arrive. food is good. sunday evening relaxing meal.

my diner is quite a rustic authentic indian restaurant. thechickentikka is always a good bet.

the actual premises are quite basic but i imagine that adds to the diner type feel
