mto cafe is a stylish daytime outpost providing a modern take on breakfast & lunch, minutes from the freemont experience. the service it swift and the menu is quite easy and affordable. the baked apple french toast and cast iron vegetable hash are worth the visit. catch an uber from the strip or get a 24 hr bus pass (machines in front of planet hollywood las vegas).

"our friendly tattooed waiter and the many pop-culture (graffiti-inspired) artwork everywhere got along very well with pop rock and some slow 90s classics playing in the background. "
just a few bite from our full experience review at mto cafe!

what do you get when you combine farm to table, a zest of creativity, wrapped up in cool vibe? hands down the best breakfast in vegas and perhaps one of the best "diner" breakfasts ever. bravo!!

bring an appetite. the restaurant was close to capacity this sunday morning, but we were able to secure a table for 2 in the very chic dining room. chef/partner johnny church recently departed rm seafood to open this restaurant that puts a spin on comfort food. it has proven to be so popular that a 2nd location has or will soon be opening in summerlin.

my wife chose an order of lemon poppy seed pancakes with blueberry-ginger compote that no one short of fat albert could possibly finish in one sitting. my avocado griddle - eggs with tomatillo sauce, red onions, cilantro, poblano peppers and jack cheese over home fries was more than filling. hers was good, mine was nothing short of excellent.

this is a great lunch spot! i have not tried their breakfast menu yet but i've had the tomato soup and grilled cheese item which i love. although it's more of a tomato bisque than soup it's very creamy and delicious. friendly staff quick wait times.

great lunch spot, fast-friendly service. went to mto for the 1st time today. very nice place, easy access to 15 at charleston, parking garage took some time finding a space, but validated for $1.50 on the way out made it ok. quick service, much care given to guests. liked the vibe, and food choices. would recommend to all.

the shoestring fries were very good, and i’m usually not a big fan of them. they were all consistently cooked well, had good flavor and seemed pretty fresh. the only thing that bugs me about them, and this is no fault of the restaurant, is that they vary so much in length that when you try to grab a small bunch you can almost never get too many of them into the ketchup at once. it’s the little things… for $13 this might be a couple dollars too high for what you get, even though i don’t question the quality of any of their ingredients. the other problem is that aforementioned burger at pizza rock was $13.50, and unfortunately blows this one away. i try my best to analyze each burger individually, but ultimately have to compare them to the rest in town. on its own this is good, i just wish there was a tiny bit more to it. that shouldn’t stop you from checking out this restaurant, a lot of their food looks really great. a lot of buzz about this place both online and through some fans, so

the biggest, and maybe the only, low point of the meal was the fat elvis ($13). it’s french toast with banana, bacon, peanut butter, strawberries, and nutella. sounds like a mouthful, right? it was and not in a good way. the peanut butter and nutella combo made it so dense and heavy that i could only stomach a few bites. ok, maybe more than a few, but it was one dish i couldn’t finish. and i almost always clean my plate.

my two cents. i am a big fan of daily breakfast. having spent 20 years loving the egg and i, coffee pub, omelet house and cracked egg to name a few, i was not in need of an additional breakfast spot. however, this morning i was compelled to meet a friend at mto cafe. i had heard great thing about it. i was encouraged to try the "kfc". this menu item consists of "mash-browns" which are a layer of hash browns with a layer of mashed potatoes with another layer of has browns on it. this alone has a great flavor but there is more. on top of the mash browns is the juiciest flaky fried boneless chicken breast covered in a country gravy with small bits of ham in it. but wait, there's more...on top of the gravy sits eggs your way (mine were scrambled).
i must say that this dish was amazing! some many favors came together perfectly that i believe this will be my new daily breakfast spot.

so good!. the food was amazing!!! we had a large party so everyone ordered something different and tried each other's dishes. chicken in a waffle was probably my favorite, followed closely by the reuben and the lemon poppy seed pancakes with blueberry ginger compote. my daughter isn't quite old enough to appreciate that the kids menu comes on the back of an etch-a-sketch, but the adult men at our table really seemed to enjoy it! super cute decor, friendly staff, overall great experience with fantastic food. great addition to downtown!
