king of indian !. wow ! what an experience here. i arrived with my friends and the place was packed. and, more than half of people leaving were taking the take out menu as reference. two good signs.

then came the meal. just as the previous reviewer kc foore mentioned, the naan is the best in the city and the largest portion at reasonable prices. one of my friend ordered the zucchini tukra..came out with bright colors and flavors were precious. also ordered were the veggie biryani and royal lamb korma. both came out stunning in looks and i had the lamb, the sauce was just fantastic, right by the book, if there is one.

if you are on 17th ave, this has got to be the place to go for indian. a treat to be in, and also you'll appreciate the immaculate decor. also, a good place to have a special evening with your partner.

bravo to all the hardworking staff at this restaurant ! 5 stars or 10/10.

to die for. this is the best indian food i have ever had, hands down. its so amazing! i always get the papya prawns and curry with garlic naan bread. it can be pricey, but if you want a nice dinner out, you gotta fork out some dough! its very classy in the restuarant and it even has ethnic copper dishes which i thought was kind of cool. you have to try this place, it has limited parking, and you may want to make a reservation because it fills up quickly. yummm!!!

lunch buffet had pretty good food, but no options. there was only about 6 different choices. i wouldn't go back, the price was way too high for the choices and overall quality of food. everything cold, dry flavourless naan, had to go find a server twice just to get a water. worth trying i guess but i wasn't impressed

dig deeply into your wallet, it's worth every cent.. moti is easily one of the very best indian restaurants in calgary. you do receive a discount on take away orders, and the authentic cuisine is superb!
dine in, dine out... you will be satiated and thrilled with the experience!

excellent overall!. lovely decor and good service.

unfortunately, i had a hair in my appetizer which wasn't mine but the hostess treated this upleasant culinary faux pas with grace (free appetizer). rest of the meal was great but costly.still one the best in the city.

good service and awesome service. we went to this restaurant during our stay in montreal when both, my husband and i, we were craving for indian food. ordered the combination dinner with dal soup, the soup was rather bland compared to what i've had elsewhere. next were some meat rolls with a small salad, and they were either dried out or overcooked, again somewhat bland. if you are someone with a good appetite you might want to order this. thumbs up..

avoid the sunday brunch but otherwise good. as the title says, you'll get 3 day old gulab jamun and watery, tasteless kheer but hey, it's brunch, right? the rest of the week moti mahal is pretty good but sundays? best just stay home and eat some ramen.

we had not been here for a few months and were craving indian food. this is a great spot. the only issue is the lack of available parking space. our servers were very helpful this evening, and recommended the fish pakoras so we tried them for the first time. very good. we also had the chicken masala ( good but not great) and the papaya coconut curry prawns, which my wife loved. prices here are quite reasonable and this is a nicely maintained clean restaurant.

one of the worst restaurants. the food we ordered was horrible. it was not just horrible. it was pathetic. we ordered veg and non veg dishes and they both turned out to be absolutely tasteless.
i would give them negative ratings if it is possible. thanks,
