great bbq! always try one of their special side dishes. the fried catfish is really good... wings are amazing. bama style pulled pork sandwich is what you'll come back for.... fun bar atmosphere - great for watching the big game.

i am very displeased at how horrible the service is. the girl at the front with dark hair is very rude and disrespectful. my company called 15 minutes before i would be there to pick up the food. when i arrived, there was at least 15 people waiting in line out the door. i saw my order next to a register, so i walked about and stood by my order and nice;y told the girl i had to just pay for this and she looked at me and then looked away. so then i got the attention of one of the other workers and all he did was point at the lad working the register. she continued to blow me off and then finally a man from the back came and took my money. after he did this she then continued to scold him and yell at him in front of everyone that he should not be helping customers. i do not understand what the point of ordering ahead does if i still have to wait in line for 15 people and let my food sit there and get cold. i am very disappointed in the customer service and i can guarantee my company will not be giving our money to people like this. they are lucky i did not just turn and walk out.

tiny portions!!. the food was good, but the service and portions needs some serious attention. i ordered a 2 meat platter which came out to $14 with a fountain soda. when the meal arrived i could hardly believe how pathetic the portion was. i'm not sure if an 8 year old would have been full on that. plus i was suppose to get corn bread with my meal and they never supplyed it, even after i told them they had forgotten. don't be so greedy guys, not everyone in boulder is rich and weighs 100lbs. if a person is paying $14 for lunch they should leave full. southern food, and eating is all about that!!

more okra please!. by far, the okra by itself was worth the trip in, but everything was very good. i am not crazy about the house sauce. i feel if that was revamped, then they would be a top notch bbq joint. all in all, though, when i can get two sides, a sandwich and drink for $8, then i am in, regardless of the final verdict.

nice atmosphere and quick service. not the best location for attracting a lot of customers, but it was still busy on a wednesday evening.

my favorite barbecue, very traditional southern style! i was so excited when i learned moes was coming to boulder, nothing compares! all the choices for meat, the white barbecue sauce, and the special sides! yum! i have to go at least once a week, you don't want to miss this barbecue!
