great evening. good food, great beer. i highly recommend the lager house for a night out. everyone was friendly and efficient. we had reservations, arrived 30 minutes early thinking we would sit at the bar. but to our surprise, we were seated immediately. will return!

great service and so many nice people ...but. i really- really want to like this place but the food is just fair. i cannot get past mediocre food, no excuse. so maybe we go and have a beer and eat elsewhere. shorten the menu and do some things really well.
maybe i have not found it on the menu. i had the fish taco's (ugh) , the evening "special"-fair.
the choice for me? not sure we will return.
too many great options in this city.

frey family. food was very good but you pay a bit of a premium for the location.

great view, service and food. visited on a saturday night with a 7:30pm reservation, sat at 7:45 on the second floor. they were very busy, but worth the little bit of a wait. our server was friendly and attentive. ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. very tasty and the bbq dipping sauce packed a punch. short rib, meatloaf and steak frites were the entrees my family ordered. everyone was pleased with their entrees. our server made helpful suggestions on choosing beers based on our preferences. overall, good experience. i have been there a few times before and would definitely come back.

moerlein lager house. fine overall - atmosphere was laid back, relaxing, loud at times.. fun.. food was okay. however, the crab cakes and preztels were great. sportsbar beer brewery clearly.. and if that's what you're looking for, bam!

awesome. my girlfriend and i went here before the reds game and i was speechless, i had the moer-burger, she had the prime rib sandwich both were well prepared and tasted amazing. we will make the moerlien lager house a staple before any reds or bengals game.

moer-burger. one of the best burgers i've ever had period.

new favorite go to eatery. my wife and i have been here on numerous occasions. from parties of two up to eight. the service has always been exceptional. the beer selection is top notch. food is on par with other places, like trios in kenwood. i usually get the hops smoked pork belly, which is to die for! very decadent. i also have recently become a fan of the caprese salad. a little over priced, but worth it. my wife usually gets the beer can chicken sandwich, which never disappoints. after the meal we go down in the park and swing in the oversized swings. a perfect evening out.

loved the first visit, 2nd was bad. the first time i visited, a weekday lunch, the food was great. nice decor great location.

the second was bad from the beginning. aug 28th around 8pm we left the bengals game early and walked to the lager house. we asked for a table and the hostess grabbed a couple menus and ran off ahead, rushing past several more desirable tables in a nearly empty restaurant. she parked us in a corner overlooking an intersection.
it took a long while before the server arrived, she was okay. the food was not good. the fries were hot, but limp. likely cooked and then reheated. the fish in the fish and chips was soggy. steak overcooked

great food, fast and friendly service!. i would highly recommend checking this place out! atmosphere, food, beer, service were all outstanding! we got beers, appetizers, and dinners and were in and out in 1 hour! crazy fast and crazy good! menu is a little pricey but portions are huge and totally worth it!

the environment was great and the food was alright, but the service was embarrassing. i threw my husbands surprise 30th birthday dinner here yesterday evening. when i set my reservation they failed to inform me that a football game was happening that evening and that the parking was going to be a nightmare and extremely expensive. i felt awful for the guests i invited. half of our party didn't show because of this and we were rudely reminded of that when we had to ask if we could order dinner. they had to get another server to take over our table due to the lack of people. my salad and dinner was given to me at the same time and one of the guests never received her drink and when she brought it up to the server she replied, "oh, do you still want that"? the worst part was when they brought the birthday cake out, which i was told i could bring a store bought one, and it was still in the box. i tried to be as nice as i possibly could about this horrible presentation and said, " could you take it back to the kitchen and put it on a plate with candles?", apparently that was a huge issue because we brought our own cake and didn't order one of theirs - extremely unprofessional. i'm appalled by the service we received. i planned a really special evening and it was a disaster. the food and decor is nice, but the service is shocking.

a great way to experience cincinnati.... this is a great place to take out-of-town guests. the food is solid, but not over the top, in my opinion. (my favorite on their menu so far is the flash-fried calamari in red chili aioli.) however, the river views are completely over the top. moreover, the restaurant is near the red's stadium and you can enjoy a nice stroll through the very cool riverfront parks. your guests will remember the experience and get an opportunity to "feel" cincinnati.

beautiful view from upper floor. establishment looks clean and orderly. the staff was friendly. the beer is quite average for a micro-brew; however, they do carry additional selections beside their own. the food is quite acceptable but not exceptional.on the downside,the mixed drinks are weak, and their is no happy hour.

meh. chain restaurant quality. a decent restaurant with a large beer selection. menu similar to an ocharleys or rock bottom. standard seasonings and preparations.
would not try again.

i ate a lager house last night for the first time with a group of friends and found the view and food both great. i had the cuban sandwich which was an interesting spin of an actual one. i also tried the angry mac & cheese which was fantastic & is a mix of spicy cheese, macaroni & spicy met pieces. overall two people can dine here for under $70.00 w/ tip included.
