mocha art cafe

this is a sad excuse of a ‘chilli cheese toast’.

2 pieces of dry brown bread, a processed cheese slice and a mound of red chili flakes was what was given over to us.

this item took 30 minutes and we were horrified to recieve this.

awesome chicken alaking. mocha cold coffee was unlike anything i had...really great. we went back for these.

located near the synagogue, this cafe has great interiors(the entrance leads u to a room full of paintings), great ambiance and a delightful owner. the owner was very courteous and polite and made sure we were taken good care of even though the place was full. the staff also is courteous and professional. they know their dishes well and suggest accordingly. do try their chocolate cake and mocha cold coffee. overall, a great experience.
p.s.: for tourists, the synagogue opens at 3pm in the afternoons. so in case you are early or hungry, do visit them. you won’t be disappointed 😊

the food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.the food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. we highly recommend it.the friendliness of the staff seems genuine. i have never seen such good customer service... can't conclude without mentioning chicken paprika...piri piri chicken and steak that i had from mocha... thank to the chef rudin who made it all 😍 just love this cafe ❤

the mocha special blended cold coffee was one of the best cold coffees i’ve ever had. i also had the mint ice tea which was absolutely fantastic too.

this place so damn great . i haven't seen anything as good as this cafe . they have good quality food unmatched by other restaurants. the price is also damn worth it . must try in if you pass by. good quality beef sandwich and coolers . really loved this place . the ambience is super awesome. had a great time with friends.

this is probably one of the most amazing cafés in kochi. the art paintings hung up here are truly wonderful.
there is indoor as well as outdoor seating and both has a lovely ambience.
i ordered a veg stir fry and cold coffee. 5/5 for both!!
the only problem in this cafe or in most cafés in kochi is that vegetarian options are very few. but here, the few vegetarian options are quite tasty and filling.

a fantastic stop with a great location - near the market on jew street. the interior decor is stunning (a great place to take photos) and the food is even better. make sure to ask what the specials are because there a lot of gems that aren't on the menu! the owner is incredibly gracious and makes the cafe so memorable. upon asking where we could go to have dosa, he offered to have his chef make it for us and this serendipitous moment gave us the best meal we had in kochi. the sambar was amazing and the dosa was perfect, but the best thing was the chutney - spicy and tangy. the perfect last meal! a must visit.

when in jew town, never miss out a chance to visit mocha art cafe. its hospitality and ambience is one of a kind. the food also is really good. its totally worth every penny.

reading all the good reviews and seeing a 4.7 star rating i was pretty hyped up to try this place out. however i can sincerely say that no other eatery in ernakulam has disappointed me as much as this place has. we asked the waiter for the beef stroganoff and a lemonade mojito first. he proceeds to inform me that there are no beef items available and there's no soda to make a mojito. so we ordered their "signature" dishes. the photo i have attached to this review shows their "signature" jamaican jerk chicken and cold coffee. the cold coffee was average at best but what buried their reputation in my mind was the starter jerk chicken. abysmal quantity and flavorless without a hint of any "jamaican" seasoning. it was pretty obvious they just cut up some leftover chicken breast and fried it with some onions and spices. definitely hard to trust some places with positive reviews after this experience.
