mocha art cafe

headed to mocha on a saturday night. although the location is a little shady, the place itself is very pretty. being a vegetarian in kerala is a tough task, but the pasta alfredo (requested a pink sauce) was very delicious, creamy without being too cheesy and the hint of tomatoes in the sauce, tasted really good. we also tried the mocha signature cold coffee , would highly recommend that as well. mocha was one of the places that was part of the biennale and we got to see some spectacular photos from some extremely talented photographers around the world.

well, never ever forget to go here! i would rate 5/5 for the food, 5/5 for the ambience as well. the cafe is designed such a way that you really think it's in the outskirts and not in the main road.

the place had a welcoming vibe and the host was at the table in less than a minute to take down the order. ordered the signature mocha cold coffee and it didn't disappoint at all. also ordered the chicken stroganoff and appam with egg stew and both were amazing especially the former!
definitely coming back here the next time i'm in kochi! :d

after a long day of walking around in the kochin heat, the most ideal place to unwind and take a break is the mocha art cafe. situated on a very pretty street, this old building captures the essence of old kochin.
my friends and i had a relaxed 1 hour at this cafe, and the break was much needed. i had the mocha special blended cold coffee, which was basically a cold coffee with milk, sugar, and chocolate syrup. it was spectacular, and i just wish i had time to have two of those, but alas, one was good enough to get me going for the rest of the day.
so all in all, a unique experience.

very good cafe with variety of food. they serve hot and its very tasty . staff are too polite . its good place to spend time . its 400 years old building but maintained very well

it is a really nice and quiet place to hangout with friends and family. you will really feel at home. the food is delicious and they leave no stones unturned to make you feel at home. a must visit cafe for sure.

on 13th jan i was in mocha caffe kochi. amazing ambience. so many creative things like sketches pic are show the difference of mocha caffe.very testy food. and good service.you must visit this place in your kerala trip.my experience is one of the best experience in my life.happy for beautiful and nice place visit.thanks

to avoid

the quality of service & staff is very bad.
after 15min i had to go and call the waiter to force him to come taking the order.
after another 30min i had to go again to the reception , because not even the drinks were served (bottle of water, and two like soda... very long time to prepare !!).
finally i had to carry myself the four glasses and the bottle of water from reception.
still despite my unhappiness , the waiters didn't any kind of respect in order to make it up.

finally after again 20min more, the food came : one sandwich with mostly chicken inside (very long to prepare ! ), three apppams with crabs (three time same dish: very long time to prepare !).
after all this , the waiter still never came to our table. no tissues given and no possibility to ask him without me going to him .

for the food, it was very bad. the appam with crabs, crabs is only cut in two in all the gravy: the gravy didn't taste crab, and the crab is very difficult to eat in all the gravy with all the skin not at all removed or partly removed.

very bad experience.
on the top of that , i have given my review to the manager, who didn't seem to care.

best place to hang out delicious food , good service , great ambiance , friendly staff , neat and clean . try out there seafood crab soup and mocha blend cold coffee there signature drinks

a wonderful ambiance which has beautiful and world class artists and photographers display their work, a hall of fame wall with great people, cozy inroom and open outroom seating, great hospitality and gem servers serving us from their heart, fascinating kitchen and delicacies ever cherished. being vegetarian, we had typical kerela food, tomato cheese sandwiches, cold coffee, ginger tea, watermelon platter, chocolate cakes etc. all sprinkled with a perfect blend of spices from god's own land kerela... situated at the prime beinalle location its just one of the unique styled cafe... a must visit and experience.

wondered once we entered it is one of the biggest rest cafe which i have ever seen , loved the ambiance it's neat and clean they have kept the old charm of the building lights are different from one another . coming to food there mocha blend cold coffee is unique and perj peri chicken , they cook and served fresh staff are too friendly and good service
