crazy insane line up! started at 6pm and we got there on the dot, there was already about 50 people lining up waiting for the burger truck to start up. we were invited by mister gee and thankfully, got to skip the line. we had a truffle burger each and a shake to share between two (wasn't really sure what the shake was), the owner seemed really busy so we didn't really get a chance to talk to him. one burger had bacon and the other didn't, that was the only difference. not sure if that's a thing or if bacon was missing?
the truffle mayo was on point, mum really liked the brioche bun, not overly sweet. the patty was well done and quite tender. we both devoured our burger and our bellies were satisfied, so we thought the burgers were a good size, if it was any bigger we would have felt stuffed after eating.
haberfield is a little bit out of the way for us, didnt' have the car so we took 2 trains and a bus... yes it was a mission! just because it's so out of the way, i wouldn't necessarily return if i had to line up. none the less, the burger was enjoyable, we both liked it. that truffle mayo blew our mind though... that needs to be in every burger. i need to learn how to make it.
take note that this review is written on the fact that we didn't have to line up.
