missing kitchen is one of the best places i have ever visited....the food is awesome and the people there are very generous and welcoming....services are just awesome...staff are always with a smiling face...happy to serve people....food quality and quantity is just too good...and guess what all these is available at a very reasonable price....ambience is also good .....

this is the best thali i ever had in any of the restaurants!

visited this place for lunch around 4pm .i really like the food specially duck and fish in the starter just pork was not as per my expectations only .but in the main course yellow daal was too good ..must try items .chicken and rice was good ..overall wow experience..

awesome place to be in. clean place, good ambience, courteous staff, prompt service and awesome food. the quantity they dished out in the mising pork thali was generous to say the least. also the mutton dry fry was delicious and the finishing kheer was a perfect treat to my sweet tooth.. look forward to visit here again.. a big thumbs up.

the ethnic pork thali was so so so tasty and awsum. it was an amazing experience with my family. just loved it. the most tastiest one among all was the roasted pork pieces and til pork fry.

the first time i had visited mishing kitchen a couple years ago when it had just opened, it was great. but with every visit it had got from great to ok, then straight to bad. yesterday evening we had dinner there and as usual it was very noisy and crowded. we ordered vegetable thali along with pork and chicken curry. the veg thali priced at rs 150 i think is supposed to have many condiments in addition to sweet dish. i distinctly remember they served multiple pitikas and pastes earlier. only half the items written on the menu were actually on the plate. sweet dish did not come. when we asked, they said, it is finished!!!! no substitute, no apology nothing. the bill however was charged in full though only half the things were actually served. this is a type of fraud according to me. the pork and chicken curry tasted fine.
the food is actually way overpriced. the veg thali had nothing to justify its price. one khar, 3 types of dal and 2 vegetables served in tiny bowls. taste is average. the servers omly kept offering rice again but not the rest. even other thalis are over priced. for non veg thali its the same veg thali items with 2 pieces of pork/chicken/fish. also it is standard assamese fare, nothing tribal or mishing about it. only tourists who don't know anything about local cuisine will be fooled by such false advertising.
all in all last evening's experience left a very bad taste and don't think i will go back to mishing kitchen nor recommend it to others.

loved the authentic missing cuisine. the thali system gives you to taste each and every item. the thali is enough for a hogger 😂 . recommended place.

as you enter..the ambience is not good at all..too small, crowdy n not that clean also..plus the food is not that good..the quantity they give is like a thumbs up but the quality could have been much better..n the prices are also too high plus they charge alot of tax..on the whole i wouldn't recommend anyone to this place.

absolute 5 star service at mising kitchen. they greet my husband and i like family every time we enter, no matter how long between each visit. their food is clean, always hot and seemingly bottomless when it comes to the thali.
i always order the veg thali, the saag they give is on seasonal rotation and the mix subzi also changes from visit to visit, and it is always finger-licking good. no matter how busy or slow they are, the food ways comes out hot and fresh. you rarely have to ask for any second servings, because the wait staff is always bringing around rice, dal, veggies and are happy to fill you back up with saag or aloo pitika as well.
this is not a place you'll land up visiting just once. any time you are in need of clean, non-oily, hot and fresh home style food, let mising kitchen be your go to spot!

brilliant food! had the mising pork thali! loved every bit of it. highly recommended if you are craving some good local food.
also, it would have been great if there were some beverage options too.

one of the best resturants serving tribal food in guwahati, the location is very easy to find and located on the first floor. the ambience is quite good and has a friendly staff. we had ordered the duck thali and chicken thali and both were very good. all the items served were very good and tasty and had quite a good touch of the tribal flavour. would definetly recommend to someone who is looking for a tasty and folk flavoured meal.

a very good place for pure assamese n mising authentic food. the value for money is very good. people can spend a quality time with their loved ones n family
