just mind blowing. my first experience of assam food and it was just toooo good. almost tried all kinds of meat. it's a paradise for meat lovers. but be prepared to eat rice because no kinds of bread are available in the north east generally. thanks a lot for feeding me. felt like a python.

loved it ! absolutely authentic north eastern food. must try the local chicken thali. well behaved staff. reminder- no rotis available for non-north eastern people. being a rice lover, not an issue with me at all ! :p

have been hearing quite bit about this local restaurant which served authentic and rather hwalthy assamese food and i was surprised that it stood up to the praises.
the place is usually packed,atleast thats what i saw and have heard,though the rotation is quite fast so we got a table after only 7-8 minutes.

what we ordered:

veg thali - it comes with everything that you can think of at an assamese place and the preparation is pretty good. i really liked the aloo saag and the dal.

chicken khorikaa - though not a big fan ,it was pretty decent

chicken in sesame curry - the curry was thick and beautiful and silky,i did not really like the meat but the friend digged into it.

koldil fry - i loved this. could eat a bowl of it with rice and daal

the service is immaculate. love how they have floor managers to keep up the pace in thr kitchen and the service. price too is very nominal.

great place to sample mising food. magnanimous portions, sumptuous taste and perhaps the "most courteous service" in town.

mising pork thali makes you feel like a king !

a lot of people has a misconception about this restaurant that its not that good ..its average and all..but i personally donot consider the same.the food is too good to be true.i ordered the mising chicken thali and to my surprise for the first time i couldnt end up everything provided to me on that thali. i had to leave and i feel bad for that coz the food was so delicious yet the number of items that they provide was out of my capacity to complete. the service was too fast and they were really generous. do visit. all the best mising kitchen.. keep spreading the ethnicity in your delicacies.

visited this place few times and found this place every time crowded...good service and food is great...though i didn’t like their bambooshoot dishes but other ethnic dishes are good in taste ...service is prompt friendly staffs ...always welcoming with their smiling faces...decently priced and quantity servings also justifies !!

sumptuous axomiya thaali to cater to your desi cravings. the food the service , the ambience everything is par excellence! we went for a team lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves .

finally on my visit to guwahati, made my way to mising kitchen. heard a lot about it . always a big fan of ethenic food, enjoyed their simple but tastefully prepared lunch thalis. i went for the 'mising pork thali' and my mom opted for the 'mising chicken thali'. smiling waiters brought in the food and explained the dishes too.😊
there was rice, papaya alkali, black lentil, mashed potatoes, mashed grilled fish ,leaf wrapped fish boil. small bowl of mixed veggies, boiled masoor dal, moong dal with tomatoes. now the star of the dish 'pork' was served 4ways... pork grill, pork in ow (elephant-apple) and rice flour, gravy pork finally pork in sesame seeds and banana flour. dessert was rice kheer. i absolutely loved their olive pickle which is indigenous to north- east part of india. quantity was well served with refills for dals, rice and mixveg.
i was pleased with the food but expected😋 ' tupula bhat' or leaf wrapped steamed sticky rice to be served as it was once mentioned by the beautiful owner.
the best thing is if you unable to finish your thali they pack it for you 👍. m sure you don't find that anywhere in india and more so food is not wasted. service is awesome. enjoyed their hospitality. next time am in ghy surely will visit again.

the rating is only for the ambience! however this was my second visit! ordered pork khorikaa and pork bambooshoot gravy! korika was nice but the gravy we ordered was pathetic. pork pieces were huge, not cleaned properly, not boiled properly and all were fat pieces! when we told our waiter her said that's because the chef did it quickly. but why? we didn't ask for a quick service. a overpriced and overrated place!

moja khana. full pet bhorai khabo pari. and service is too gud. imanei bhal j hodai manuh full thake. still jabo mon jai. everyone should go and try...

wonderful experience!!!nice ambience....good food....prompt service 👍👍the platter of food had nothing to complain about. ordered mising chicken thali and oh my.....there were four different varieties of chicken in there!!!!!!the boil one being my ultimate favourite. however the star of the show was duck prepared with black dal. awesome 👌👌👌kudos to you guys....u have made me a fan of your place ☺☺

a bit slow with the service but worth the wait..good interior with good food..pork items are very tasty.specially the chilly pork..must try..loved the overall experience..recommended fr family lunch o dinner.

i feel like eating 'bhat' very rarely. but when i do, this is the first place i think of. all the little bowls with the delicious veggies and range of daals keep the platters balanced and interesting. i love their chicken and pork khorikas. and the service is so nice, all i can say is 'apun apun lage'.
