great café mocha. above average. coffee is a little watered down. not so gluten friendly. there are no flour substitutes. sure, there's fruit choices but, that's about it.

nice artisanal coffee. had the special; spanish latte. was excellent. there's a cute little side seating area which is shaded and hidden from the street which makes it nice. good luck parking in this lot, though. those in the know park on randolph or it's side streets.

milk & honey is one of those places that are hard to categorize.  is it a coffee place like starbucks or a froyo place like pinkberry, or a shaved ice place or a place that serves middle eastern pastries? and if you go to their tumblr site, it is even more confusing. bohemian? hipster? maybe all of the above? it really defies the human tendency to want to categorize and classify. eclectic is definitely an apt term here.  but this is sometimes what you get when the purveyors have complete freedom in doing what they love best.  without the shackles of a need for a central marketing theme, one is allowed to follow whatever their passion is, be it coffee/tea, shaved ice, baklava, or sandwiches.  that is probably the only classification you could put on milk & honey. it is a small storefront located in the camp.  if you blink or turn your head the wrong way, you might miss it completely.  even though everything they serve here looks delicious, i can never seem to stray away from ordering th

so after we played some soul caliber 4, we shuffled over to milk+honey to try their m+h special. tart original yogurt topped with strawberry shaved ice, kiwis, bananas, strawberries, mochi, red beans (which we ordered sans), drizzled with their signature

unique in many ways. the are were it's located is a perfect example of what it's like: creative, independent, hip and most of all artistic. this is a small "sweet tooth" cafe which you can choose between youguet and iceies. choose some interesting organic topings, and relax.

loved it.. i met up with a friend here to try it out and really enjoyed the ambiance, the coffee and it fits perfectly in the camp which is one of my favorite spots in the area. my friend had pomegranate iced tea and i went for a soy americano. so good. can't wait to try the cinnamon roll latte.

yet to be discovered... you know, each time i've come in here there is only ever one couple sharing a deuce, comfortably and enjoyably, while i order with the chap at the counter sporting a friendly smile.

i didn't get it, and now i do. the place is really a little treasure, but it's small and hidden. no one knows this is here. right across from the lab, in the strip that is exposed to the street next to chevron, check out milk + honey for a casual lunch with a friend or frozen yogurt treat. their frozen yogurt is delicious--only two flavors, but the seasonal flavors are exciting, and the original tart it rich with yogurt benefits and a kick. the prices are affordable and the atmosphere is much like the wine cellar at the camp. if only people knew this place where here, it'd be packed. it's small, true, so there are only six tables, maybe. there is an outdoor patio that accommodates less than a dozen people. have lunch out there with your colleague one day. it's contemporary napa... outdoors. enjoy it.
