i'm from california where we have some really great mexican food. i had the house special and my husband had the miley's burrito. we loved loved loved our food! we leavesedonatomorrow, but we will be back for lunch before we head to the airport!!!

an eclectic surprise!. on a vacation to thesedonaarea i had the luck of stumbling into miley's one saturday evening and was none the poorer for it.

with an eclectic menu that was described as short order specialties i was expecting tasteless food with a greasy finish. what we received instead was very good food, served at short order speed by a bubbly and cheerful waitress. with a great selection of mexican favorites, americana and a small set of italian choices i was impressed.

if you're looking for fast, inexpensive and satisfying food insedonathen i strongly recommend miley's!

locals secret. this is the best kept secret insedonaand its where the locals like to go. you can bet if the locals go there, its good. you won't be dissapointed with cafe jose (on hwy 179) in the village of oak creek. its very clean, great food, great service, great prices, great choices, you can get breakfast all day, delicious coffee. cafe atmosphere like everybody likes. we have been coming here since 2005; go see why, you'll be glad you did. :)

high praise. on my wife's and my first morning on vacation in thesedonaarea, we were looking for a small, quiet, comfortable place for breakfast. we didn't want a breakfast sandwich, or a light pastry. we wanted something hearty to get us ready for our day of exploring the riches and beauty of thesedonaarea. cafe jose filled the bill.

the menu is decidedly "meximerican" - or "southwestern" - traditional american style food with a mexican twist, and traditional mexican food with an american twist - both influenced by the other. the atmosphere is relaxed. the food is top-notch. the flavors were incredible.

i don't think cafe' jose' makes the tour books, and that is both a good and unfortunate thing. on the good side, there are no crowds of tourists. on the unfortunate side it is a shame such delicious food is a secret. my biggest regret is that we only went for breakfast, but we did go there for breakfast twice.

bypass the coffee shops and mediocre pancakes you can find in the area and go to cafe jose.
