i just love milagro! i could have an enjoyable time on a light spring day sitting on the patio or even on a wintery day inside. it always hasgreatatmosphere, fast service and amazing food! i’ve been to milagro over ten times now and i’ve never once been disappointed. it may be because my taste buds are still jumping up and down from the flavours of mexican cuisine. one thing i never had the opportunity of appreciating while growing up in australia is mexican food. it just wasn’t a cuisine that was readily available but is although quickly becoming more and more popular recently. one of the perks about milagro is being able to walk right in and enjoy a freshly made salsa with homemade style tortilla chips immediately. best of all is that they’re complimentary. so if you’re super hungry and your stomach is calling out to you in desperation you need not worry here! you’ll be able to much on these tortilla chips for as long as you can but make sure you leave some room for the food ..

enjoyed a wide mexican fare here on cinco de mayo. love the ambiance here and the food even more so. they are always busy so making a reservation is recommended especially for the weekends.
we started off with the guac and chips bowl. the guac had a subtle heat to it from the chopped jalapenos but was delicious and balanced well with the house made chips.

then we moved on to the trio of enchiladas, the chicken tinga and the conchanita pibil which were all outstanding. also ordered a side of chorizo which went well with our enchiladas. finally, since none of our mexican meals are complete without tequila/mezcal we got the bloody maria and the oxaquena. overall agreatmeal.

the only drawback on going there on cinco de mayo was the crazy busy lunch service and the food took a bit longer than expected but the taste made up for the wait!!!

agreatmexican spot in the heart of the city. the place can get pretty busy at lunch so it's not the quickest if you are on a time crunch. food is delicious and very filing but a bit on the pricey side.

this restaurant has changed my perception of mexican food .. we thought mexican is all about salsa and beans .. but there is more to it after visiting this place .. loved food ..greatservice and good ambience for a date .. fondue which is fondido here is liquid cheese with tossed mushroom served with flour tortillas.. hongos con queso- taco was diff with sauteed veggies, panela cheese is amazing.. suizas enchiladas- flavorful and yum.. complimented by a pitcher of margarita.. absolutely recommend

the food here is fantastic and quite different from fast food tacos and burritos. i highly recommend their happy hour from 3-6 on weekdays where you can get guacamole, some drinks, and select tacos for $5.50. the margaritas have a really nice flavor blend where the lime comes out and it's not excessively sweet. they have some other tequila cocktails with a hint of chili pepper. not cheap, but fair value for quality ingredients and preparation. conchinita pibil is a my favourite thing, and the goat milk flan is quite unique in a good way. waiters are very good at reommending dishes and are passiomate about the menu. not a lot of vegetarian options, but perhaps that's an accurate representation of mexican cuisine? the ambience isgreatfor a larger group or just dinner for two. i frequently see parties of 10, sometimes 20 people, dining there. they have a sidewalk patio in the summer too. my only complaint is that the service is fairly slow, which is no problem if you're hanging with friends, but kind of stressful if you have to make it to a show.

great mexican joint in downtown toronto. if the weather is great, you could opt to sit at a nice patio on john street. the decor is excellent and we had a reallygreattime here. the guacamole is very tasty and one of the best i have had in toronto. for the main course try the mole poblano. it is awesome.

this is one of my staple mexican restaurant to frequent. the staff is very attentive and prompt. the guacamole is agreatstarter to order. the tropical de pescado is yummy with the right amount of zing to it. lastly, the sauces that most things on the menu come with add a different layer of flavor to the whole food experience.

i had a long walk after work to a mexican restaurant called milagro for dinner with some of my coworkers. i ordered the pull pork taco and some roasted potatoes as a side. the food was excellent, kind of on the pricey side though. it was still early in the evening but the place was so poorly lit. it did not make forgreatambiance. one of my coworkers were disgusted with the 18% service charge they levied on us for having a party of eight and over. the total damage was $35 which is on the high end side for mexican food. go at your own discretion.

milagro cantina. i’d heard suchgreatthings about this mexican restaurant! some even insist that it’s better than the ever-so-popular el catrin, in the distillery district. naturally, i was curious to try it out…

big bucks, little food. my bf and i ate here last night for the first time. i tried them for the first time at the food and wine expo and fell in love with the food. i originally booked for the queen st. location but they called to let me know they closed down temporarily for emergency repairs and rebooked my reso at the mercer st. location. much appreciated btw! the food was just as amazing from the show. fell in love with their guacamole, ordered a large margaritas and tacos. (cuz thats what i love!). our server was right on time and friendly. kitchen was in sync bc food was coming out at perfect timing. and i know its just table water...but its not tap trust me when i say it made a huge difference. i ordered the tacos al pastor-flavours were done well...a little heavy on the cilantro garnish... my bf had tacos tinga-the avocado slice was awkward...next time i'll make sure to get a double tortilla bc our tacos fell apart on the first bite :-(...flavours for the guac, margaritas, and tacos were spot on. but not sure if its bc we're downtown and they might be thinking whose gonna notice? but i definitely noticed...$30 for 2 margaritas??? $18 for 4 tacos??? and $8 for half a bowl of guac??? thats insane...i was a bit disappointed at the portions. im used to hearty, full size, filling portions when i get (mexican) spanish food. that just didnt make sense for such agreatresto. too bad.

great meal. i had a very nice meal at milagro. the margaritas come in two sizes; the small will seem refreshing, but the large will more than satisfy. (get the large.) the chicken mole enchilada was as spicy as advertised, but satisfying, and the staff can't be beat for friendliness. ask for a table outside if one is available - nice on a warm evening, andgreatfor people-watching too.

amazing mexican!. i don't usually write reviews - but this place needs one
reservations for 8pm on a sat night for a party of 6 - a little crowded at the front and we were seated about 15mins late - no big deal
the restaurant really isn't that expensive - some portions may be a little small but they are worth the price
the guacamole, refritos and pico de gallo appetizer is amazing -greatflavour and good size - easily shared by our group of 6.
our table had the fish tacos and the chicken tinga burritos
3 fish tacos - with rice and refried beans - $16 -greatprice for a lot of food
only thing i'd recommend is to have them go easy on the coleslaw
the chicken tinga burrito was the best burrito i've had - i eat and make a lot of mexican food and this was fantastic. right amount of spice and flavour. stuffed with rice and beans and a spicy chipotle sauce. i ended up eating mine and half of my friends as she was too full. so delicious! i will definitely be returning.
