mike's bar & crab house

first time here and the crab quesadilla is deliciously amazing!!! it comes with sauce but so much better alone. you can taste the freshness of crab. yum!

been coming here many years always good food and great ambiance especially in summer time sitting outside fantastic and great rum punch. but i noticed many items are now “market price”. basically the bigger the crowd the higher the price. very discouraging to see this!

i ordered the soft crab sandwich. market value at $27. positively disgusting!! no prep to make the crab palatable. plus the crab had been frozen for some time as the meat had the conductance of mashed potatoes. fry oil pooled in the plate. you would think for this price they would at least drain the fat before serving. also had clam chowder. this too fella way short of expectation. consultancy of thick white gravy with no flavor and no clams. the french fries were prepped in oil that i swear was recycled from the fish fry. i also ordered a side of hush puppies. th ae were consistent with the meal, bland and extremely greasy. think i'll go puke now. oh i did order a dos equis beer. that was good although over priced. save yourself time money and avoid a epicurean disappointment and avoid mikes. got to go, i'm starting to heave.

a great experience for the whole family! the crab cakes were delicious! eating whole crabs was a fun and tasty experience as well. a bit pricey, but well worth it.

ok, so if you want to spend an evening cracking crabs, this is the place. the deck is on the water. the crabs are plentiful. if anyone in your party wants more than crabs, you are in luck as mike's has an extensive menu. this is a summer place. don't sit inside. call ahead, cuz there could be a two hour wait. if you have a boat, pull up to the dock.

mike's is a great seafood restaurant year-round but it's really awesome on a warm day when the deck is open and customers can eat outside with a waterfront view. me and thomas  this is my grandfather and me sitting at an umbrella table on the outside deck  on the day we ate at mike's recently, my family and i were originally seated on the outside deck at an umbrella table. the view was breathtaking, but after 15 minutes, the sun shifted and a few of us became the victims of the sun's harsh rays. we tol

best soft shell crab sandwich ever!. my boyfriend was deploying so on the way to the airport we stopped to have dinner. we sat on the deck and it overlooked the water, beautiful sunset btw. our server, haley, was wonderful! she was very quick and more than helpful with our selection. i had never had the crab sandwich before and she was very accommodating with making it a wonderful experience! i'm now hooked! can't wait to go back and do it again. thank you so much for a wonderful experience before he left!

terrible service - run the other way!. first, the food was very good! however, the positive stop there...

first the ambience or lack there of – the floor has to be at least 30 years old, the tables and the chairs need to be replaced
- the server was terrible - rude - stretched over all of us when delivering the food (at one point his armpit was directly over my salad at which time i covered my food and asked him to please not stretch his body parts over my meal)
- asked us to pass down the food; did not know who ordered what
-never introduced himself when he came to our table
-when one person did not know what she wanted, he simply replied "we'll skip you and keep it moving" instead of offering some assistance/helping her make - selection – referred to an african-american member of our party as "bro": totally disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude
-there were dirty dishes/empty plates left on the table for almost an hour before i finally asked another waiter who was simply standing around if someone could come and clean the table
- once he arrived, he asked us to pass down the dishes and trash. i've then had to tell him that that is not the way you bus tables; that he needed to go around each person, collect the dishes and bring them back to the bin
- when i brought these issues to the manager, he was basically useless!
he simply looked at me, said okay and walked away. it was only after i told him that i did not feel i should pay gratuity as i did not get good service, did he wipe out the gratuity - a whopping $3.20 (it was a large party - mandatory gratuity) and apologize – it did not help that his breath was hideous!

this place makes tons of money every weekend and there is no excuse for them not improving the interior decor and the waiters definitely need retraining.

this was my first and last visit if you like good service, run the other way!

the best seafood around. great place for groups. come casual and order blue crabs. make an afternoon of it.

easy and good. great place to bring a group because they sell crabs by the dozen and half dozen and have something everyone will love. not gourmet, but consistently good. great price and service.

food is very average and service is worse. this place is crowded as it is one of the few places you can pull your boat up to and sit outside on beautiful days on the south river. the service is only fair.

worst service, bad crabcakes. - as an annapolis resident, i can say this is the worst restaurant in the city, with the worst food and probably the worst service i ever had. the crab cakes were awful, and the waitress and hostess were rude as well. there are plenty of places to go for crabs in annapolis, don't waste your money here.
