great place, especially for the specials. wednesday is wing night from 5 to 10pm, you get the whole wing for only 50 cents a wing they. pizza thursday all day and night eat in for only 80 cents a cut. tey this place, it's great tbey give you so much food! like my post if you try thos place.

passing through after a long day at sandcastle, we found michael's.  this place was fantastic!!   portions were very nice sized and well worth the money!   i would definitely recommend michael's and will be back in the future :)

pizza. tender crust, a delight to bite into!!

twisties!. the twisties are great! the philly pizza was okay. the toppings fell off a little too easily.

michael's thumbs down. the service was terrible. the food was lousy.

the best pizza in south side. especially if you love cheesy pizza. just stay away from the pierogi pizza. it was a bland disappointment. the pepperoni and sausage pizza makes up for it though!

although michael's easily topped my list, if you take price into consideration i think they are an even bigger winner. a slice at places such as grotto or pizza sola can easily run you upwards of fiv

best pizza in pittsburgh. awesome hoagies too. i'm addicted.

got takeout and had to reheat the pizza when i got home because it was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. basically tasteless- ordered with pepperoni and hot peppers. also ordered a chef salad and it wasn't good. really nice people who work there, just wish the food was better.

best south side pizza. good stuff here!

love michael's pizza bar. i come up to pittsburgh about twice a year to see a friend, and go to michael's pizza bar every time. it's our fave. we love the pierogie pizza!! been going now for about 5 years.

bad pierogie pizza. usually, i love michael's pizza....it really is in the top five in pittburgh, in my opinion.....i had the pierogie pizza years ago and loved it....got one to go a week ago and it was terrible....a very thin layer of mashed potatoes....onions were still raw....absolutely no flavor without adding tons of salt.....very disappointing....not sure if this was just a fluke or the normal recipe....i'll be back for the red pizza, but will definitely not order this one again.....

genevieve. this pizza is simply one of the top five best in pittsburgh. the service is friendly and efficient. the only complaint i have is that i am a wine drinker, and the only wine they had in stock the day we were there was merlot. our waitress said "he" (i'm assuming the owner) didn't get the wine order that week. i think having a fully stocked bar at all times is really important, especially in the south side. with all of the new development there, you never know who is going to walk through the door.

we went for the pizza. we ordered a large extra cheese pizza with 1/2 green peppers and 1/2 hot peppers. had i known how cheesy this pizza was i wouldn't have asked for extra cheese (this is a good thing). it was very cheesy and very tasty. this is now one of our favorite pizza pies in the city. this isn't a quick order pizza (anyone that has ever made pizza knows it takes time to make a good pie), but we definitely didn't wait forever.
my only complaint is that the hot peppers weren't spicy.

yummmmmmm pizza. micheals pizza was amazing the atmosphere was fun the bacon cheese pizza was awesome. so overall good beer good food and good company made this place.
