so here's the deal. michael d's is good at what they do. there's something to be said about a place that closes by 2pm. they are really good at what they do. they are breakfast and lunch, that's it. we had eggs benidict and then chicken fried steak. great food great coffee. a+ i will recommend.

this place was packed with locals on a late tuesday morning, a sure sign the food must be good. while drinking our coffee and waiting to order, i noticed the folks at the next table eating an unusual and tempting breakfast. i asked our waitress about it and she turned to the customer and said "brian, he wants to know about your breakfast". brian proceeded to explain that michael d. made the recipe up for him. it is not on the menu, and they call it brian's breakfast. well, what could i do? we ordered one and asked our server to split it. it ended up more than two of us could finish and was very good. there were so many tempting items on the menu, including gluten free options, that we can't wait to come back. good coffee, good service, and good food.

definitely a moms home cooking cabin! cute little place with friendly staff. busy place on a sunday morning but food was hearty n great! love trying new places!

server was great, very friendly. ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with avocado which tasted delicious. steak was cooked nicely, batter was seasoned well and the white gravy was not too peppery. the benedict was good too, i only wish they asked how you wanted your eggs as they were too soft for me. overall was a great restaurant for a very reasonable price.

went there on easter morning and were seated quickly. was not a fan of the condescending tone of the dude trying to get my cousin to place her baby in a car seat on top of an upside down high chair. had the smoked salmon eggs benedict. pretty lacklustre and expensive for the quality. overall, not particularly impressed.

hey this place is awesome. food fast friendly service. summer was our waitress she was attentive. this is our new breakfast spot. yummo! !!!!

never a disapointment. the irish scramble and saratoga scramble rock. coffee and a homemade cinnamon roll or zucchini bread at the counter is perfect. yum

busy saturday breakfast, kinda slow but the food was good. sat outside and after we killed that bee, it was perfect. friendly service and awesome tunes. would totally visit this hipster joint again.

delicious!! we ate here while traveling based on urbanspoon reviews and we weren't disappointed. the salmon eggs benedict were fantastic!

amazing!!. we have been eating at michael d's since they opened. the food and service are always awesome, which is why it's always crowded, duh. the omelettes are light and fluffy with really good potatoes. i tried the blueberry pancake for the first time recently and am hooked. just one cake is enough.
we went for dinner last week and i had the baked cod. really good. my son had the ceaser wrap and it was huge and yummy.
thanks for doing such a good job for all these years!

decent enough.... it was okay, but it was just too dark for me. i like my breakfast in a bright, cheery atmosphere - this place is better suited as a dinner steak joint.

the prices seemed to be a bit high - $2.50 for a split plate! are you kidding me??? this guy must think he's in manhattan or somehting.

the meal was okay, but nothing special. my wife liked the pecan waffle, but the hash seemed to be out of a can. there are better places nearby, at a much more reasonable price.

dana. eggs florentine perfectly poached eggs excellent creamy spinach sauce. on a good day this is the crave! chef was having a bad day poached eggs had a shell and weren't drained properly cheese on potatoes had a moldy piece so i opted to leave them. overall the breakfast was great. recommend

best breakfast in town!. i have dined here for many years and have always had a great meal. the breakfasts are second to none and the friendly service totally rocks. thanks to michael d for a job well done!
